Not sure how I feel about 320 crafted weapons. It feels too soon and Susano EX is piss easy so again too soon. Are they least somewhat hard to make?

Dunno, honestly; they are 2* crafts, which from what I've read require north of 1300 craftsmanship and 1200 control to make. I'm already above both of those numbers and I'm missing several control melds on accessories. I'll have to acquire the books first in order to even attempt this stuff. At least this time around, I believe they didn't lock the recipes behind specialists.

New items added in 4.05. The crafted gear starts on page 6 of 7 in those results.

I would've been perfectly happy had they not added the crafted weapons...worst case, if someone was really lazy or undetermined to clear Susano EX, they can end up with a 330 weapon a month from now, provided they have enough O4 clears. I haven't gotten around to it due to lack of time...crafting/gathering consumed the better part of the past 2 weeks.

Omega Savage is looking interesting so far. Wasn't surprised to see OS1-OS2 taken down in fairly short order. OS3 looks incredibly more difficult than OS2 though. The difficulty spike was interesting. I'm actually happy to see that the Hali fight is as intricate as I was hoping for. She switches between boards ever 10-15% it feels like from the stream I'm sneaking peeks at every couple of minutes.

I'm very much looking forward to the OS4 fight and seeing how that gets swapped up.

100 Potency PB damage with an 25 potency DoT over 12 seconds.
Compared to the old one, 30 Potency PB & 10 potency DoT over 15 seconds, it's like it's old version on 2,5x steroids.

Yeah pretty nice. Went from 70 potency cast to 200 potency total.

I notice that the green item drops from Experts still haven't been properly localised this patch. They've been slacking off when they fully translate the names of accessories, yet still leave you to figure out if the "Tsutsu-Hakama" is something you should be rolling on or not.

Tell me, do you think the Samurai job got left untranslated because they're lazy? Or that the job quest was lazy localization because it left the Sekiseigumi as the Sekiseigumi? Or that the weapon "katana" needs translating?

I don't think this is improper localization or laziness.... it's meant to be using that name. Just like they've used a lot of old English words in other areas as well.

Sorry but this is really grasping at things to find wrong with the game.

As pointed out we are in an Eastern Region with Eastern themes. It's not hard to read the job requirements on the gear at all.

I do think it's odd when they're dropping from Ala Mhigo, a region which is very clearly NOT Japanese themed.

And yes, I do need to look at those items to see if they're actually something I'd need. I know where I'd equip the Y-fronts of Striking, (on my head, where else?) but I have no idea what item slot an Obi or Suisui Zori would go in. It contrasts hard when the other drop is "Arkhat Ring of Casting", just pick one language and stick with it!

Now for naming issues...how the fuck do you pronounce the name of that scorpion A rank in the Peaks? I started calling it Abracadabra, while a FC friend referred to it as Albuquerque. Asked the question in shout one time, and the only reply I got was "let's call it Chad".

Edit: Since I'm a dummy and didn't think that the name will be different in different language clients...I'm referring to the English client, where the mob's name is Aqrabuamelu.

As a huge D&D nerd, I had a good laugh the first time I saw the giant bug named Orcus. And as a former GW player seeing big purple toads named Abaddon.

My guess on the name is Ack-rah-bwah-may-lou, BTW.

I'll agree on locations... even look at the Omega gear vs Tomestone gear. Can anyone tell me those shouldn't be flipped? The tomestone gear looks all Ironworks'y and the Omega gear looks Doman samurai'y.

Or you could learn you a bit of another culture and find out obi is a belt and hakama are pants! And then you've learned something because of a vidya gaem!

There wasn't enough RNG, now there's also RNG roll to be randomly booted out from there mid-run.

Also, think I'll go with this (outfit) glamour once the dress is within reasonable price.

Also reached Lost Canals last room - the end reward was a big disappointment tho, got way better loot from earlier rooms.

I may simply hold onto them for now; I'm almost to 70 on DRK, so that would make for at least 1 person in our FC who's on a decent bit that can tank.

Oh man, I'm so excited to get raiding tonight. In V4.0 after you kill Ex-death, you get to fight Neo-Exdeath in the void. I doubt we'll make it all the way there tonight like world prog teams, but hopefully soon. The fight looks intense!
