New Adagio album is out if anyone likes them. I didn't really like the album as the vocals are pretty terrible as they are in most metal.

Some surprises on there, like the Lord Weird Slough Feg, Blind Guardian (excellent albums), and Children of Bodom (I really dislike them). But most surprisingly, no honorable mention for Uada last year!

I decided to listen to some non-metal over the last 2 days and listened to a bunch of forest-romantic Finnish and Norwegian acoustic music. Turns out literally everything I was listening to was the side project of black metal bands, and then I ended up on October Falls' first album which was pretty much strictly acoustic, then I got to their second album and its just forest-y BM. I can't escape it, even when I go out of my way to try.

I don't think I've heard of that band before, gonna check them out. Was any of the acoustic stuff you listened to any good?

Yeah Vali was very good and October Falls' first album is great too, then they just turn into BM.
