Exclamation Sorry your mythic+ score is too low?

So I run a mythic+ dungeon every week normally if I can complete a 13+ or higher im satisfied and I only do one mythic+ dungeon a week. But lately, I'm noticing that a lot of people are telling me that I have a low mythic+ score or it's not high enough. I didnt even know there was such a thing. How do I improve my mythic+ score? Can someone help?

    Search your character on Wowprogress.com

You get points by your highest level on each dungeon, and that gets added to your m+ score, which a lot of people use as an invite tool.

You complete multiple high level keys a week (15 and higher) and you try to beat server times and levels.

Theres very little chance youll be able to pug that though.

Sure thing, Its a conglomerate score of all of your runs in M+, tallying the highest level for each, so for example if you run a 12 darkheart and a 13 maw your M+ score is 250, (10 points awarded for each 1 level of M+ run).

I was top 50 US hunter through the nighthold tier, but when they wiped the scores I didn't feel like rebuilding, and now don't get pug invites because of it for the same reason you are facing.

The score is not blizzard official, its put out by wowprogress amongst others im sure.

Tbh there's no point in trying to increase your m+ score. Doing them all on +13 won't exactly make it easier for you to get into a +15 anyway.

If you do all the dungeons as +10 or +11 on time your m+ score will be 1300+
It's the newest over the top requirement but this one is quite easy to obtain. Just make sure you do the different dungeons, conpleting dht 20 times won't increase your m+ score much.

It will be a lot easier having a 1500 score then a 0. They might just find a person or group of people that run often and keep going that way.

It's kinda ilvl or m+ score, it seems. But there are plenty of runs that don't care either - just hunt those groups down.

I personally think the whole m+ score thing is just yet another stupid way to measure people. It reminds me of early Highmaul; I at that point had 6/7M, but was declined to join a normal run on my alt with appropriate ilvl because I "hadn't done higher than silver proving grounds" on that alt (seriously). PG bored me to absolute death and I never pained myself to do more than I absolutely had to of it either.

I personally have a m+ score of about 500, however my average ilvl is 945, which gets me into the "minimum x m+ score checking wowprog" groups. Occasionally I'll get asked why my m+ score is low out of curiosity, and the simple answer is that I don't give two shits about m+ score, I don't enjoy m+ even in the slightest - I do one instance a week, no more, no less. I only do a select few of the dungeons and ignore the rest completely because I hate them more than the rest, resulting in even lower score.

But yeah, generally, have ilvl way over what's needed - or work on your score, find groups that don't care, do the dungeons with friends/guildies or use your own keys. Afraid those are your options. The higher m+ especially for popular "easy" dungeons the bigger chance there is that people with better score/someone with mythic raiding ilvl will be taken over you.
If you opt to put effort into your m+ score doing so with people you know and trust would be the best if possible, since random bad run = not much help. As many have said, do all dungeons with best time humanly possible - and, I've heard earlier in the week gives more points rather than later in the week (would make sense even more with my personal score since I do my one extremely selected on monday/tuesday) but I'm not 100% sure of this and can't remember where I heard it. If anyone knows for sure feel free to chime in on it, I've wondered at times if it's true but haven't really cared enough to investigate properly

The main thing is to do them on Tuesday or Wed's the latest, it only pulls data from the leader board and that has a 100 limit. So if you do them late in the week you probably wont get credit for it point wise even thou you did it.

It is quite annoying, I do a 15 every week on 4 of my characters. Usually 1-2 with guildies and then I pug the rest. While I have the skill and gear (930 ilvl) to perform well enough to 2 chest 15's, my Mythic+ score is low because I have no desire to push for 15+ on each zone just for this score number on every character. When I pug it takes a while to find a group, but it does happen eventually.

Yes its a good tool to weed out "bad" players, but there are still good players that have a score of 1000-1500, because they just aren't investing time in it. If someone has a lower score, it doesn't hurt to check their warcraft logs to see if they have good parses on raid bosses.

As long as i do a 12+ per week i am satisified and it allows me ignore that elitism crap till the next reset.

If it's of any consolation then when I do my 15-s I just check if they have done any 15-s in time at all. I often take people who have very low M+ scores but who have comfortably done at least some of the dungeons in time (huge plus if they've done the dungeon I'm going to do) and I've yet to be disappointed.

Oh, forgot to mention that I do set min. ilvl to 920 since my alts who don't even do normal raids and do like max one +5 Mythic dungeon every 2-3 weeks are above 910.

You get good. Or you get complacent and remain content in mediocrity.

It sucks balls to try to do +15 on alts because of tryhard ***** looking at your m+ score. Haven't completed every dungeon on +18? Can't invite you to this NL+15.

there's only one guy on wowprogress with that ilvl and it's not you

On WoWProgress we have a tool for lower score players who are looking for group.
There are a lot of high ilvl players with not so high M+ score who are looking for groups:
    <1000
    1000-1500

Search them, message them and form your group.

    P.S.
There is also search by role:
    Healers
    Tanks
    DPS
