Just to nitpick, Totalitarianism is a 20th century phenomenon, though you might call figures like Napoleon proto-fascists. But anyway, the word you want to use instead is probably "Absolutist," as in the absolute divine right of the monarch, although I'm not sure that would apply to the United Kingdom by the time of George III and the American Revolution.
yes as long as they don't incite violence order others to commit crimes doesn't mean they cant be put on a watch list get a warrant and heavily monitored
the preemptive thing to do is not allow them into the country to begin with then you wouldn't have to worry about them having a first amendment right to spew hate

Communism came into power with Lenin and co. Nazism came into power with Hitler. Those guys were the ones who put it into practice first.
The ideology originated from Marx. And then I say that the ideology of natsoc originated in the 1800s. Did you really think that Hitler personally came up with all of that?
But at least you tried.
Actually, he used the political instability he caused by starting the war with the Confederacy to get the Senate to confer "temporary" absolute power to the Chancellor.
Then used his army of brainwashed soldiers to eleminate most of his political and ideological enemies.
You are bad at Star Wars.
