The Falcons aren't very good, they've been floundering a few weeks now. This is 2015 and earlier Ryan, not 2016 Ryan.

Coaching hasn't caught on to it.

    I am speechless.

    Matt Ryan overthrowing to bejsus.

    Special teams suck.

    Can't kick a FG apparently.

Defense is doing okay, that's about it. Awful.

Yep, which is why the 4th down plays are so nutty, their defense is more trustworthy than their offense, to put them in such bad spots instead of playing for field position shows desperation that shouldn't be apparent in the first half.

I can imagine that when you spend a year living up to it and finally are on the verge of realizing your dreams and you end up short then, that has to take a mental toll. I can imagine it taking time to get over that again.

Then again, the Falcons also just seem lost on offense without Kyle Shanahan. He was MUCH more creative and aggressive than Sarkesian. With KS the Falcons dictated what happened on offense when they took the field. That doesn;t seem to be the case at the moment.

I mean, Sarkesian really hasnt done shit since Washington anyways, so I dont know why they thought that was a good idea...

I mean, if they were going to go with a troubled coach from college, Lane Kiffin would be a slight upgrade since he managed offences decently. Just couldnt HC worth a damn.

Losing Shanahan is why I thought the Falcons wouldn't be nearly as good this year. Then again, I thought Denver's offense wouldn't be horrible again with McCoy, so what do I know.

On another note, the Saints will be alone in 1st place in the NFCS if the Falcons don't make a comeback. That division really is random.

Wow, Van Noy! What a play. He read that and reacted perfectly.

I have no clue why the defense is playing this well right now when they were so utter crap as little as 2 weeks ago.

I hate to say it, but maybe Gilmore on the sidelines means better communication and thus at least the other 3 players in the backfield doing what they should, even if Bademosi is technically a downgrade.

It seems like the Falcons came in looking to exploit issues with the defense, and they’re just not there.
Falcons don’t look good by any stretch, by the pats certanly do.

Agreed. Outside of those quick 14 points to the jets, the defense has looked good.
I’d hoping gilmore wasn’t that disruptive, but I have no doubt B.B. will cut sling if need be.

Well, they are stuck with Gilmore for at least 2 more seasons. IT's just financially cheaper to keep him ON the team then to cut him. I hope he can learn and the staff can adapt somewhat to let him do things he's good at.
