Proof that stuff IS selling on the AH/how are people so broke

So i dont get it......in a week and a half of playing i sold somewhere around 50 mil worth of items THAT I FARMED..... this wasnt flipping items on the AH...

I think that people simply just dont know what sells...

So please feel free to ask me stuff in this thread

Sure stuff sell, if you can find something with half decent stats that is. But when most of the loot that drops is completely worthless, it's no wonder people are complaining they can't make a profit.

But thats the point..... look at my logs..... thats a whole crapton of items i sold all from farming.... ur saying i find more items with half decent stats than most people?

People actually do know what sells. The issue is that gear that used to sell (act 1 worthy) no longer does because the majority of players are already comfortable there.

I should have taken screenshots of the full bag after bag of yellow vendor trash that made up most of my farming runs, and the long list of gear that was posted with no buyout, and a starting bid of vendor price, which wound up returned to me, reposted with buyouts as low as 10k, returned again, and eventually vendored.

It's interesting to note that while you do show how many items you've sold, nowhere does it list how long it took you to get them. But yeah, around 50 items sold in a week, with most going for over 500k?

Or am i just that lucky

You have your answer. Your gaming experience certainly does not reflect the average.

It's saturated, and it sucks. I am starting to go broke, and i'm not sure if I want to keep farming for hours and hours to find that "one" item that will sell for millions. Stuff sells. It just sells at a fraction of the rate it used to. My best guess is that it's due to a combination of people quitting (the game is pretty poorly designed and bores most players quickly), in addition to the RMAH going live.

I have 400m gold atm, I don't see the problem. I buy and sell things all the time. It's exactly what I expected I would do as it's what I did in d2. I made a lot more soj/high runes/fg trading than I did farming or botting.

I'm sorry you aren't good at it. Is it slower than a month ago? Yes, but the good traders adapt.

Also, I'm not defending the game. I knew this game wouldn't please a lot of people. Way too many people didn't know what d2 was or how it evolved. They just knew what the hype train told them. Just like what is going to happen with Guild Wars 2 . There's isn't end game there either beyond pvp which requires a group to be most enjoyable. Do I like that still ? Yes. Will the majority that purchase it like it? Nope. Do they understand what they are really purchasing? Nope. Hype train once again.

Just sayin, why don't you enlighten them. I know its part of the "the game" but some people dislike having to do market research and trends on what sells, especially when they are showered in crap items, lot of people don't find it fun to sift through all that shit.

Myself I haven't played in over a month, not because of that reason, game just got old.

I've only noticed some stats starting to sell better than what they used to, and some worse than what they used to. All and all as a whole I'm still selling as well as in May/June.
