I can think of a certain.... organisation, that would probably skin you alive for dismissing the letter K. Also, Craccen just doesn't have the same ring as Krakken... sounds like a really bad pronunciation of croissant.

imo "C" is the useless letter. phonetically both sounds it makes are covered by "S" and "K". of course that would leave the combo sounds, like "CH"

Well, the alphabet doesn't but J K W X Y from what I remember do feature in words, but loanwords. Pretty sure I remember Madame Taylor when teaching us the alphabet including "I lunga" and "Kappa" and "doppia something" and then I Greca for Y. Can't remember X though.
