Why would they make some orcs playable for alliance?

So, let's assume Warlords of Draenor is the new expansion, let's assume blizzard does add two new playable races. What would they be? Ethreal? Arrakoa?

Sexy Robots?

Havn't really though about robots, that'd be a pretty decent idea actually. Would love to see how a robot chooses factions though. But then again, since it could be the burning legion, and with that whole Garrosh cutscene, might be cross-faction raids bffs forever type stuff.

Mag'har are uncorrupted orcs. They are interesting, as different as blood and night elves and not AS popular as other races. But, seeing how they'd be neutral (in my idea/speculation), they could be as popular as the more popular ogres and arakkoa.

Mag'har escaped the enslavement by the Burning Legion (but seeing how this is most likely a time travel expansion, seeing how Draenor was destroyed, this shouldn't be a problem) and have avoided corruption. Mag'har and Draenei were allies, but I am sure there are many, many Mag'har, just as there are in our timeline, who would rather associate with the modern Orcish race.

exactly it is a new expansion not just a patch they need a wow factor to get us excited

I refuse to believe Blizz is so lazy as to think revamped content is the same as new content.

So there will be at least 1 new race or class.

I'm not taking for granted that time travel is a big factor here, so I'm going to say neutral race, playable ethereals. New race/class combinations. Demon Hunter (IF it's a legion expac). Illidan returns, heavy Rexxar involvement and... Alleria and Turalyon are bad guys. Just a strange feeling I have. Like maybe they are the titular Warlords.

Anyway, Ogres for the Horde makes most sense. And for Alliance, I'd rather see either Arakkoa or Ethereals.

coz it's past pre warcraft 3 events, High elves exist as part of Humans as Alliance

Also another thing.. Where is this whole "time travel" story coming from? It is a ludicrously terrible idea, we will not be going "back in time" for an entire expansion.

It's because of Timeless Isle and its questline, there is a general notion many have that it's there as prologue to next expansion. I'm on the fence about that. Easily something they could revisit later.

agree, it would make no sense to spend the entire expansion in the past. I could see maybe a questing zone being in the past maybe or a raid... but the entire expansion? not a chance
