Essentially there are 3 major races.

Caucasian, Mongoloid, and Negroid. If you are going to start dividing into ethnic groups, there are thousands.

then it actually should be Semitic not Caucasian, as that one pre-dates the other, but once again that would be predicated on racial stuff making sense.
