Just scroll through the picture in this article. For 15 years I've seen the US army being in the desert, wearing TAN uniform and painting their tank TAN. I was like WOW they must be expert master at desert fighting, and they just look SOO BADD ASS in the desert with the desert camouflage. Although, I don't really see the US military parade around like in Russia, seeing the US army in TAN desert uniform and camouflage for 15 years really convinced me that they're REALLY good in the desert. The TAN color has become so iconic to me subconsciously that I believe IT IS the US army... so when I see the tan color, I'm like YEP... US army.
...Then all of a sudden I see these pictures of them in the forest environment of Europe and I'm like NOPE. Green painted armor personal carrier? nope. That's Russian vehicles. That's not US vehicle. US vehicle are TAN painted. What? US troop wearing green uniform camouflage? I'm like... NOPE... US troops wear TAN colored uniform. Not only do I not believe that the green camouflage is not the US military, I had a hard time believing and buying that it's credible that these US troop are competent in this environment. I STRONGLY feel that the US army IS the desert, IN the desert. With the TAN. That's how it should be. The US army shouldn't... I just can't buy the US army in any other color but the color of desert tan. In fact, the US shouldn't be anywhere else.
Please... this isn't the US army. It's some other army. The US army is in the desert.
Please... I just feel so weird out seeing this for the first time after seeing them for 15 years in tan and the desert... I just can't see it.
The US army just weirded me out soo much.
Someone... halp me.
