Time Bokan 24 is being produced in collaboration with video game developer Level-5. The series is scheduled to begin airing in Fall 2016. The original Time Bokan comedy mecha anime series aired between 1975 and 1976 and has spun off other titles such as Yatterman.

Infini-T Force

Infini-T Force, a full 3D CG anime production, is inspired by the action manga Infini-T Force: Mirai no Byousen. The series written by Ukyou Kodachi and drawn by Tatsuma Eijiri began publishing last October in Shougakukan's Heros magazine, and the first compiled volume will go on sale on April 5.

I sometimes envy people that can be calm and collected at all times, but then again, emotions are one of the most important things in life, if you ask me. Even outside of simply enjoying a medium, if it doesn't make me feel anything at all it usually failed its purpose for me.

Emotional intelligence is key in human interaction, which is a big part of most work environments. This rings especially true for Neichus' work environment, which he has probably already realised.

I've found that watching these shows that make me emotional help me process stress and work through the things that are on my mind, and for that I'm really grateful.

For me it's a bit different. I experience a profound sense of alienation with the human species. This is made worse by the fact that I am not lacking in empathy/sympathy. I don't dislike people; I spend quite a bit of time trying to understand them and appreciate them for what they are. It's a quality I think greatly aids in being a teacher as well, as I am not judgmental about my students.

At the same time, I don't identify with any group of people either. I don't consider myself part of a political party, church group, or club. I am from the USA but I don't care about being "American." I watch anime but I don't feel at home in the culture. I teach but I don't have a sense of camaraderie with my fellow teachers. Even when I attended university it was a wash where I was told, "you think too much." In short, I'm a human without peers.

Anyway, my goal isn't to host a pity party. Rather, I want to explain why when I watch shows about close friends and belonging I feel a mixture of vague hostility and intense longing.

Well, my personal history has led me to regard emotions with suspicion. They're primitive situation-assessment tools whereby a variety of inputs are taken in and combined to ascertain what it means to you.

-Are things in my favor? Happiness
-Is there danger? Fear
-Are things not fair? Anger
-Are there things that threaten to "pollute" me, physically or mentally? Disgust

Now in the course of things humans have come to more subtlety in emotion as they combine and are parsed by upper cortical centers. But the truth remains their source is subconscious, uncontrolled, and often relatively simplistic. Unfortunately they are mistaken by most people as reality rather than an assessment of reality, which leads to all kinds of troubles.

Alright. Was Krater good enough for you to pick it up? It had that kind of Demigod vibe with a tinge of Bölzer that I couldn't quite put my finger on.

It's got some moments, but it didn't really grip me.

This week my random drinking anime was something called 'My Mental Choices are Completely Interfering with my School Romantic Comedy'. First off, holy shit that way too long for a title. Secondly, up until the last couple of episodes, it had me just laughing my ass off. The phone calls with God stand out, as well as the phone vibrating too much when god texts/calls. Absolute Choice was such a crazy and fun concept, and shows itself as something awful the poor MC has to go through from the very beginning.
