New WoW Expansion: Will you pre-order?

Simple question, will you pre-order the next expansion for WoW??

I know I will. Just from the quality that we have seen so far is enough to justify a pre-order for the next expansion. I don't care what the expansion has in it, I know it will be great. Even if the expansion was just one raid tier, 7 dungeons, a new continent, and cost $60, I would still pre-order it.

So, are you guys going to pre-order? Collectors Edition for me all the way!

It is too early to tell for sure, but probably not. The next expansion would have look especially good in order for me to give Blizzard the benefit of the doubt.

Only reason to pre-order in the digital download age is for the bonuses. If there are interesting bonuses, sure.

The second paragraph is clearly trying to eek out some controversy (as is customary on this forum), so I'll just say that as long as the wife and I continue to have fun raiding and the game continues to enable us to be PUG progression raiders at our leisure, we'll continue to buy and play.

Edit: Either didn't notice the poll or it wasn't up when I replied. I abstain from the vote because the options don't reflect my reasoning and are clearly trying to be inflammatory as the affirmative option is biased.

I stopped pre ordering after GW2, never again. I'll wait till the game is out before I buy it.

Maybe. Fairly happy with how WoD has gone, although wish there was another raid tier. One expansion per year will work only if they keep adding big features, really looking forward to see what they have in store (expanded pet battle system plz!).

I voted no - I don't get the CE and there's not any reason for me to give them money upfront before I see what they have in store - After all, I can get the digital license the day before it launches if I want, so why on earth would I commit before I have to?

With WoD being shown as one thing, and being a pale shadow of what we were shown.

The fact that they had the balls to call 6.1 a large patch
The way the handled flying and so many other things

Any trust or faith I had in Blizzard is gone, I will not be pre ordering until at the very least I see confirmed content, and features.

No. I am going to wait to see how things go at Blizzcon and after. The way some things have been handled this expansion has made me a bit cautious. If it turns out that I like what I see I will get the boxed CE. I love all the extra goodies it comes with.

And OP, just to make one minor correction, you should have said "the quality I have seen". Not everyone agrees with that. Surprisingly, I'm not flaming you or anything, just saying.

For those of you who have totally enjoyed the expansion more power to you. (no sarcasm, honest) I just don't feel the same way as you do.

I never pre-order until it's like a month to release.

Mostly because I don't want to throw money away a year in advance.

But this go-around also because I want to wait and see if this expansion is another MoP, or another WoD.

It would be nice to see more people pre-ordering. The more players supporting Blizz, the more potential they have to make A+ content.

Absolutely not. As far as WoW goes it's dead to me and nothing they ever do will change that because they don't give a shit about players only their money.
