I'm curious about this point, so I thought I'd make a poll about it. For people planning to vote Trump in the upcoming election, which parties have you voted for in previous elections?

(This poll only applies to American eligible to vote in this election.)

I don't plan on voting for Trump but I hope all the people on here and other forums, who are expressing extreme dislike for him, actually plan to go out and vote against him, and not just complain about him online.

If I didn't have to register as a republican I would have voted for Rubio in the Maine primaries.

Of the three GOP contenders, I think I could at least hold my bile down if "President Rubio" became a thing. Not so much for Cruz and Trump.

You should have included an option for "I do not plan to or cannot vote for Trump." Now I have to click view results.

Decided not to make a "non-Trump voter" option since I'm more interested in the voting history of Trump supporters and thought that'd just turn it into a Vs. thread.

Not going to vote on this poll just yet, there is still a small chance Bernie will get the Democrat nod. That said, if it's Clinton VS Trump I'll Vote Trump and move to Canada for and watch the fireworks from up north.

Found three sites talking about polls regarding his supporters, all contradictory. They don't specifically have data on Republican vs Democrat affiliation though.

Found this one that suggests his support is highest among Democrats who are in the lowest voter turnout category. Don't know if I trust it though.

Became a US citizen a couple years back and can finally participate in voting for a president.

I have no clue about any of the candidates, this campaign has confused me to no end.
Not because I don't know anything, but I feel like it is all a circus act.
