With the current state of hunter I'll probably be passing on Legion. If I were playing I'd probably lean towards Beastmastery at the moment as it's the only spec that's retaining a fully mobile ranged playstyle by the looks of things.

I really would love to say Beast Mastery. I can't see myself maining any other spec of hunter.

At this point my boomkin is looking more attractive.

Because they took a working Hunter live class, threw it in a fire, and then created an abomination that's neither as fun or as effective as before. Both of the specs are massive downgrades from Warlords in every sense of the word. Performance, fluidity, flexibility, mobility, you name it. Simply put, the Legion Hunter designer is incompetent and the class truly and honestly sucks.

Planning on switching to my Priest, maybe my druid. Going to make a DH to try it and see how it goes. I'm going to give the new MM and BM specs a shot in 7.0 but I dont have high hopes. Which really bums me out because I love my hunter.

So out of 16 replies thus far only 1 is actually looking forward to playing Hunter in Legion. Says a lot about the state of the class really, too bad Blizzard don't seem to agree.

I'm looking forward to the versatility of switching between ranged and melee. I'm currently planning to spec BM/SV. But I can't really know what I will enjoy until I can play it myself instead of just reading about it in forums.

It's alpha, not even beta. Blizz still does not know how hunter should look like. Complaining at this point does not make sense. Wait until late beta or even pre patch and then make statements.

At this point, it might as well be beta. There are two month and a half until we expect a pre-launch patch (End of July). They've already mentioned that the tuning has started so class mechanics aren't going to be changing unless it's drastic from Blizzard's eyes (Yes, all the specs look bad to us, but apparently blizzard does what they want).

I will play whatever does the highest damage. I'm already committed to the hunter after playing it the majority since Vanilla. No point changing because a hunter will still have some use in a raid (might only want 1 instead of the previous 3-4).
