Time to nerf leveling Followers?

Because there is a tendency to avoid an actual argument why someone is wrong, by smearing them with pretty generalisations instead.

In order to even get this far, you had to complete the initial class hall quest which required several missions completed on your toons. I have 9 alts so far, 4 of which have only done that much, and they're fine for these missions. There is no way that you can't be ready for these missions if you've played the character even half or a third as much as a main.

Also, Class Mount, Class Hall; which literally is where you send followers on missions. Honestly, I think some of these posts are just to stir the pot and OP's are already there just complaining to hear themselves in an echo chamber.

That's the thing, it's not a huge deal(unless the mounts are gone after Legion, in which case it's a slightly bigger deal), but at the same time there's no good reason to keep the timegate that was intended for mains at launch. Actually allowing people to put in effort and get follower gear by doing some actual activities would go a long way, or just buffing base follower ilevel up to maybe 830 or 840, or making ilevel tokens have double effect up to 850.

Exactly. I would have loved world quests rewarding follower items/gear over the dozens we get rewarding boring shit like gold or order resources. To me this just feels like bad design in regards to alt friendliness

I'm unsubbed so pardon my ignorance, but do we now have to level ALL our followers for the class mounts? Even the inactive ones? If true that is fucked up but not beyond belief.

I figured they'd realise that people HATE this kind of 'content' by now but I guess not.

Edit: Nevermind. Checked wowhead, turns out you only need to have level 110 followers. Still another abysmal addition to one of the worst questlines of our age.

You are entirely correct. However, this one situation is a bit silly. Otherwise I completely agree and align with your comment here. Everything from 40 man raiding to current day has changed because people clamor they want things easier then others complain things are too easy.

Same problem here, I have switch my main to Mistweaver since 2 month and still don't able to do legion missions because they are 850. With my fresh 110 Rogue I have highter followers with the gear orders..

Maybe scalling followers to player item level ? Because being 912 and not being able to do missions......

Yes, and the only use for followers is getting the class mount. Oh, wait, no. Followers are also a pretty powerful source of stuff like AP.

Exactly this, it's not effort, it's a deliberate time sink with even more random added elements. (gear can come from work orders and chests, and under 200% is "random chance to get bonus loot", new characters/new alts aren't going to 200% everything.

3 classes don't even get work orders so have to rely on random mission rewards.

Alts should start with the 3rd relic slot at this point, yes. The other 2... not even close to the same thing.
