What is your favorite auto maker?

What are your top 5 Favorite vehicles or which 5 cars would you take if given to you free and clear no tax?

    1. Ford F 150 which I have, but the rest I don't for practical reason.

    2. Ford/ Saleen Mustang 281 2009

    3. Chrysler (Used to be part of Mercedes) G Class SUV 2015

    4. Ford/Land Ranger Range Rover 2010

    5. Dodge Viper. GTS 1997

The only Mopar that is a Car and the baddest machine I have ever seen built, the style kicked ass.

Honda, I collect the 84-87 civic and crx chassis and own one of the best known examples in the world. my father races a mugen tube frame gt car.

I went to school for car design, so i also still like most automobiles. i give them a chance. cars are great.

it was the prototype years where honda really started figuring out the performance fwd chassis, it's not the same as the most popular years of 88-2001 in terms of engine design or suspension, but it was honda figuring out how to be competitive on the racetrack and in show rooms. they were simple, easy to work on, light weight and fun to drive and really unique designs that set the standard for years to come, and even now 30 years out, they still go out and win national championships with old tech.

i currently daily drive a 2012 nissan frontier pro4x. i love the truck and it has a 6spd and bilstein suspension so it handles and drives great, but based on useage and known future use, I will definitely need a bigger truck sooner than later. probably will buy a ford diesel for towing purposes.

Yep, I did I also left off a few others too, left them for the comment below option, I love Tesla want it to keep getting better but until real recently their prices have been some what on the high end, that with being newer probably wouldn't make for many to have a lot of experience with it

Actually used to Remember a co worker who drove a Kia said it was the biggest mistake she ever made this was back in 2002 ish, and her entire AWD system like fell out.

But over the years don't know if Hyundai turned that brand around but people who I know own them swear by the brand now.

VW. Good memories of tooling around in a friend's old VW Rabbit convertible. Thinking of getting the new electric van.

Another friend had an old bug, but the seats are hella uncomfortable.

Nice poll you got going there... not a single german maker on it. Well... others i guess.

Mercedes Benz; i own a C220 elegance, with an avantgarde body-kit and most of the possible extras.

As for current dream car... gotta be a CLS63 AMG.

Tough call. Not sure I can pick one, so I'll break this down a bit.

For all practical purposes, I'll say GM, simply because I'm a fan of Camaro's (own one), Corvettes, and Cadillacs in terms of real world higher-performance cars that deliver bang for the buck.

I'd probably also select Porsche, for the 911 as a model and their continual race efforts.. though I'm not sure I'd consider then a particularly rock-solid mfr.

In the world of supercars / unobtainables probably Pagani. All their cars are just amazing to me. Koenigsegg gets a mention here as well from a technical perspective, though I'm not always a fan of how their cars look.

Lots of other objectively "good" cars on the road, but they also wind up being rather forgettable point a to point b appliances, or cars that simply do too much themselves. Honda, in my eyes, hasn't made an interesting car since the S2000. Same goes for Toyota with the Supra.

Nissan made sexy stuff in the 90's. I know everyone will hate me for saying this, but i really like the 300ZX better than its successors. I don't like any particular maker enough to label them my favorite tho.

Opel / Vauxhall. Decent cars, very reliable and comfortable on long journeys. Zafira's panoramic roof (starting with 2011 model) can be compared only to Tesla X roof.

Second choice is Ford. S-Max and Galaxy are both excellent models.

Third choice is BMW. 220i grand tourer to be specific.

I'm not a fan of small cars. As kid I wanted one, when grew up views changed. I'm looking for comfortable car with high seating and excellent view for long journeys across Europe. Once you get used to high seating position and wide windows, you never want to drive small cars.

I agree with melodramocracy above, a car is pretty much an appliance that gets you from one point to the other, they all pretty much look alike these days. A Kia is a Korean car and is a good value, it looks pretty much like all the other cars on the road.
