Keep in mind it doesn't always work and is prone to freezing. I highly recommend you use Gnosis (cast bar addon) and just configure some dot bars into it. Since everything is now dynamic, the strength of SP dot timers isn't really needed anymore.

Hey guys, I just started to use weak auras ( I don't know how the heck I've been playing wow for almost 10 years without this addon) and I have a question.

I am trying to customize the holy power for my paladin and I've found a model that I really like ( the Ardent Defender skill from paladins). My problem is that I want to see only the model of the skill, I dont want to see how the model keeps refreshing endlessly for every holy power I have. Is there a way to use only the model fully formed?

You can set it to just display at 1 holy power, then 2 at 2 holy power, etc etc if you wanted to see each holy power individually. Alternatively you could just set it to show up at only 3 with special highlights on the sides for 4 and 5 holy power respectively.

I use a similar method for my shadow orbs.

As someone who runs a basic UI (Blizzard standard UI with only DBM, Masterplan and sell junk as addons) where is a good starting place, I would like a cleaner UI going into legion / for now, with just what I need on it and not much junk, if possible I prefer to keep my bags separate rather then a all in one.

Really don't know what else to say I am very new to the UI modding community but looking at making something interesting.

Does anyone know of a way to have names shown as class color in chat bubbles? I used to use Prat for this but the most recent patch broke it.

Does anyone know if there's a way to just change the bar texture and maybe the font of the Default Blizzard Raid Frames? I know i can use something like Vuhdo or Grid and create exactly what i want, but i like how the Default Raid Frames work and would just like to change the texture so it fits the UI im creating for myself.

RaidBuffStatus does a decent job of brokering raid data. I personally don't use most of the fancy options, just the basic window of buffs with online/offline/afk/wrong zone icons. I'm sure it can do most of what you want.

Could anyone recommend me an addon that will play a sound alert when my name is mentioned in guild chat? I often space out while playing solo and miss people trying to get my attention. Preferably a stand-alone mod, cause I already use PhanxChat for most chat functions!

Well I know that elvui can highlight key things said in any chat, so it's possible to do it.

WeakAuras, if you have that installed, can do that trivially. The trigger for that is events/chat and then under actions specify a sound.

I have SX DataBar installed and I have managed to change the font however now my fps stats overlap with my latency stats.
I have tried messing around with the Lua code, however I cannot find the right combination to add a space between the two.
