    5-man priest > shaman > druid > paladin
raid shaman > priest > druid > paladin, but it depends
    arena 2v2 & 3v3 druid > priest > paladin > shaman
    5v5 paladin > priest > shaman > druid
All classes are good in some cases, you can't rly say that some class is always best in raids etc.

A shaman chain healing will always be most desired in all raids (unless you have none available). A druid or priest will always be better than anything else in arenas. 5 Mans? Like it matters.

Shaman-warrior has risen ALOT in season 4, if you trust sk-gaming stats. So calling them the worst healers for 2v2 is a stretch.

woot! ur druids must be REALLY slacking in raids.
I have enough of EA ruining great franchises and studios, forcing DRM and Origin on their games, releasing incomplete games only to sell day-1 DLCs or spill dozens of DLCs, and then saying it, and microtransactions, is what players want, stopping players from giving EA games poor reviews, as well as deflecting complaints with cheap PR tricks.

I'm not going to buy any game by EA as long as they continue those practices.

you usually need 1 resto druid in raids. 2 if you're lacking other healers.

Still, to put them at the bottom of raid healing is way too much. You only bring paladins for lack of other healers or buffs, they bring nothing else to the raid, and they know it. I am not saying they aren't good healers, because if the person is smart and well geared they will do fine, but any shaman or druid or priest in a raid with equal gear and competence will be WAY more of a utility. This is part of the reason most paladin healers are unhappy with the holy spec right now.

And to the other poster, regardless of what a few shammies have done, there is no denying they are the least desireable/viable healers for arena 2v2.

shamans and priest are the best raid healers. priest and paladins are the best tank healers. so where's the druids. paladins > druids since in end game raids tanks take loads of dmg and paladin is a great tank healer, fast heals that heal for a nice amount.

Guess that explains why we replaced a holy pally for a second resto druid for Muru

Well what you do at your M'uru is your call, don't rly give a shit but M'uru is a bit different from other fights in Sunwell so if there's 1 fight where you want to take 2 resto druids in Sunwell then gg.
Btw bad attempt to look cool

    Re: Best Healers?

Are you kidding? Resto druids in t6+ raids are meant to stack hots on 1-3 main tanks at a time. They are always there. And added with priests, the job is done. Paladins are most certainly not invited to raids because of that, it is for salv and kings. kthxbai.

    Re: Best Healers?

Druid - Exceptional in pvp/arena, useful in raids but kind of a niche spec.
Paladin - Strong in 5 man arena, good healer untill you begin MH/BT
Priest - Strong in pvp/arena as discipline spec, excellent all round raid healing as Holy
Shaman - Decent in pvp/arena, excellent healer from MH/BT onwards.

    Re: Best Healers?

a druid cannot keep a tank alone while paladins can ... i can only understand you replace a paladin for a druid on muru if he/She is healing the sentinel tank that moves too much for a paladin.

But i highly doubt a druid can heal one of the sides tanks with the burst of damage they take.

Same goes for brutallus ... highly doubt there is any guild progressing or not progressing in Brutallus using a druid on the tanks while 2 paladins is just perfect.

in 5 men it doesn't matter who heals.
in arena druid and priests for 2v2 3v3 and for 5v5 the combo of paladin/shaman + druid/priest
in raid 3 shamans, 2 paladins, 1 resto druid, 2 priests. Paladins for tank healing, shamans and priests for raid healing ( coh and ch ) druid as backup both for raid and for tanks. keeping 3LB makes always the healing more stable.

just taking a look to your armory we can see how much raid experience you got. So ok thanks for your opinions and keep them for yourself if you got no idea
