    Those Nostalgic Feelings

Think of the World of Warcraft in two years (Hopefully its still around). Lets say Cataclysm brings in heaps of new players into the game, bringing the current wow population, I believe its somewhere around 12.5 million (correct me If im wrong) to somewhere around 17 or 18 million. Thats millions of new players who have not experienced the older version of Azeroth. Now its most likely that these new players will create characters on newly created realms, but lets say a group join your server. What stories would you tell to them, if they join your group or guild, become your friends?

Note: I know we dont know everything about Cataclysm yet, all the changes etc., but use your imagination.

Akin to the /equip Rose Colored Glasses thread from the Official WoW Forums.
TL;DR - What stories of the Old Azeroth would you tell new players after the Cataclysm, Old Man Style

    For Example;
Back in my day, I trained my Druid at the Park in Stormwind.

Nostalgia is Satan incarnate. It keeps people from improving themselves, and eventually drags them down into a pit of "No longer being able to accept changes and betterment".

I would tell stories of how people complained about everything on forums, and why I was so optimistic about everything that has happened to the game through TBC and WotLK.

hahahaha I use to sit at the tarren mills river and just kill those turtles for as long as I could and just skinned them. The scales sold for a lot too! I had so much fun doing such a mindless task..

The implementation of honorable kills is something that comes to mind. Wich totally ruined world pvp. 10 man runs turning into 5 man runs. Opening of Ahn'qiraj gate event. The addition of weather effects (god the enviroment was so dull before that).
And because rogue was my main; 5 minute cooldowns on all your abilities, so you had to wait 5 mins each time to kill someone.

Back before everyone tried to create meme's that weren't funny, but everyone still says them. "We named him Dranosh" In ICC general chat on my server, Oh God.

Back in my day, we had to pug our dungeons from our own server! We'd sometimes spend an hour finding an undergeared tank just for wailing caverns so we can wipe on trash!
...never again...*Rocks back an forth naked in the pheotal position*

Back in my day, we had to walk to our instances until level 40, even then we didn't get those fancy epic mounts like you kids have now, and flying mounts? BAH, that was a dream!
Shiny shiny epics. NO NO, look with your eyes, not with your hands.

I had to farm for hours in Silithus, I had to farm for hours in the Plaguelands killing the scourge.

You, little scum, weren't here when at the early months of BC the epic flying mount was the awesomeness of awesomeness, and getting it was pretty hard.

You, full ilvl 325 geared in 10men, weren't here when you gotta kill Illidan on Hardcore Raiding guilds to even give a meaning to that expansion

Great thread. I think I would sit the noob on my knee and tell them what it was like to level mining and engineering with only a 100% speed mount.

    Oh, and also:
