    Ildrae was watching in the tower for a few hours and with nothing of importance showing up she left after she summoned up a group of 30 arcane wraiths to watch over the tower in what would be the "eye of the storm" soon enough. Casting the water spell Cascade (cant find out how to accent the 2nd a and last e), an ancient hydromancer spell, she liquefied herself and became a pool of beautiful water nymphs dancing in the air and landed on the sandy beach sifting her watery hooves around in the grainy textured terrain and sang out before all of the water drained off of her form and out came a beautiful elf. Ildrae was cleaned and the water also purified the sandy beaches creating a shell of protective magic. Once people with malcontent towards the Rebel gnomes enters the area an army of a hundred water elementals will surface from the beautified beach.

    Ildrae went on her way and created a gateway from the beach to the fortress and closed both doors. Though a group of powerful mages 'might' be able to reopen the door at the expense of life-force and mana. Ildrae entered the alcove at the top of the tower at the top of the fortress and shot out a magical green eye signal spell that the whole entire world could see. The eye signaled that the island was ready for whatever the Loyalists threw at them.

    The Loyalists had boarded their ships, and were sailing to the island. ((You can screw around on ships for a few hours, the assault starts on my word))

    End'ghao went around, talking to everyone. Not surprisingly, he was being treated as an outsider, because of the simple fact the he appeared blind... Couldn't the gnomes see that he was easily walking amongst them, never even missing a step?

    foolish mortals...

    ((Bother, I've been timezone'd. Let's say I'm on the boat.))
    Milly smiled as she leant on the side of the boat, gazing out to the horizon. Her (rather svelte) mageweave outfit was thin enough to keep her cool in the heat,
    allowing her to focus on more important things than the weather.

    Rakzor saw the approaching Alliance fleet. He roared to his men, "Back the damn ships up! We don't want to be spotted by the Alliance!" Immediately, the oars descended from the side and pushed the boat back, painstakingly so. They would be out of sight soon.

    The air was cold, and the salt mixed with his eyes. The water was blue, and he could see towering forests of kelp below.

    He approached a Gnome.

    "How long until we are there?"

    ((RAWR, I feel alone in this battle))

    The kelp forests in the water were enchanted to send signals back to Ildrae's floating eye in the fortress signifying how far the alliance loyalists were. From the signals it showed that the ships were about a mile away. With this knowledge battle station sirens were released and many Gnomish soldiers, mages, and priests (they are to be implemented in Cataclysm)got ready at their stations. This island was prepared to win. Traps on every passage way. Elemental servants on the front lines and in the battle towers. Wards to destroy magic and physical powers. This battle was going to be big.

    Ildrae sat in the upper alcove and started chanting out the song of air. The song of air summoned flying air elementals that stayed invisible until contact in the air was made. Ildrae sat there waiting and watching and chanting for the oncoming armies to attack.

    Come with all you have. You will need it. This dragon will crush you all!"

    End'ghao felt the many traps before he saw the magic. This was not going to be a fair fight, with that kind of magic on the rebel's side... He immediately began lashing out towards them with his mind, dismantling each one with ability... He wouldn't be able to dismantle them all, but he would be able to take out about a third of them, maybe half if he was lucky.

    End'ghao remained oblivious of the source of magic behind a trap, not noticing the prominent draconic features of it.

    The boat ride was everlasting.

    Garots sighed, throwing a fireball into the sea, only to see it evaporate.

    The Loyalist boats finally reached Rebel territory. The fight had begun.

    ----------------------------------------

    Blackjack had noticed some trouble with gnomes. There was a civil war, and gnomes never ceased to have entertaining affairs. He flew over the island, seeing ships attacking. He flew down to a ship and set it aflame. This was going to be fun.

    ((Got another Horde! Yeah!))

    Seeing the Alliance forces land, he yelled to his troops. "Today, we deal a fatal blow to the so-called Alliance! Without the power of gnomish technology, the Horde will prevail unquestionably! To war, brothers! Oarmen, propel us forward." Rakzor drew his axe and ran over to the goblin in charge of the four cannons that were loaded on his ship, along with the army of Horde. Motioning for him to fire, the goblin complied, and lit the cannon. The shell launched from the cannon as the ship inched forward, landing twenty or so meters short. "ADJUST AIM, HENCHMEN!" the goblin yelled. Firing again, they got closer. And at last they fired a third time, with all four guns roaring, and struck the ship. An awesome, gaping wound now appeared in its side. "For the Horde!" Rakzor roared.

    ********

    They reached the island. Rakzor leaped off, carving through a foolish dwarf. His men followed suit; the Alliance forces were now sandwiched between the Horde and the Rebels.

    ((Don't know if that was gmodding or not when I sunk the boat; if it is, I'll edit my post.))

    Garots slowly walked onto the beach. Ok, survey the damage.

    Heavily-armored forces clashing, check.

    Tanks, check.

    Gnomes....Check.

    Armor, check.

    Magic, check.

    He was ready.

    But not quite yet. He ran on the beach, and made the call. He opened a portal, and there stood the commanding officer of The Shattered Sun Offensive.

    "Master, we are ready for you." Garots said, standing to attention.

    "Excellent." The master said, ordering the troops int he background to ready themselves.

    Rakzor saw a powerful looking mage, bearing the crest of the SSO. Screaming profanities not meant to be heard by human ears, he charged the mage, bringing his axe up and swinging it down in what would be a fatal strike.

    Garots saw the axe. He slowed the warrior, and blinked behind him, he charged a massive pyro-blast, and hurled it at the orc.

    ((Does it hit :?))

    The power of the Cascade became invoked and the sandy beaches started to swell up with water. The water was crystalline and beautifully prismatic. It kept on in a current and sifting through the sand. Moving until it created rivers between everyone of the battlefield and soon enough a hundred magical water elementals (all weakened by the attacks made by End'Ghao). The water elemental's powers were restricted to the limit of frostbolt and Nova and suicide blast. By the commands of Ildrae the water elementals were to form a circle around the beach and create a current that made a half-circle from the beach to the ocean all caused by their suicide attack.

    ~~~~This is prior to the cascade by a little bit~~~
    Ildrae continued to watch from her tower and started to cast Ultra-Cumulonimbus over the island to form a huge tropical thunderstorm. While the storm was cooking (it had not formed yet)Ildrae gave the command for the Battle tanks and infantry to start on down the mountain and towards the battle scene. This fight was already starting to get big and Ildrae wanted to make it bigger. By the time the front line army met the beach the loyalists were fighting the horde. The tanks started to fire up their weapon systems and the infantry started charging onward to the valley of glory and death.
    ((Summon weather? What? I thought I was the god here...also, who said you had any power in a GNOME revolution..>.>))
    All of a sudden, the weather became very cold and windy. Some clouds were overhead, but it wasn't raining.
    The rebels had charged. For some reason, there were water elementals on the beach. The gnomes attacked them, not knowing whose side they were on. Then the rebels noticed the horde. One broke off and ran to an orc warrior. "Whose side are you on?"
    ------------------------------------
    Blackjack was on the beach. He had switched back into his human form, and was plowing through the gnomes. Although this was a huge battle, about fifteen percent of the rebels were here. They were starting to lose, but because of the horde's attack, the Alliance was confused. The rebels started to fall back, trying to let the horde and alliance weaken each other.
