The Naga on Kel'dor. [ Open SRP ]

(( Notice, portals, teleports, blinks, Demonic Circles, summons, and other ways of gaining reinforcements/moving yourself have been disabled for this thread. You may accompany yourself with one summoning or helper, and you may ONLY control your own charachter. I decide wheter you hit your enemy, or if you make a tower crumble to dust, rather than leaving but a dent in its surface. ))

The sun had been shining from a blue sky in the past week, and today was no exception. Though, a strange phenomena could be spotted by the keen eye out in the ocean. It was a huge area covered in a thick mist, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Anyone with magic abilities could tell that it originated from just that - magic. Two mighty ships were tied to the docks of Theramore. The Silver Wing, a sturdy Nightelven ship colored silver and blue. Alliance banners were being used as sails, and down the rails the ship were gentle nightelven markings, signalling peace, nothing but a transport ship. The Silver Wing could carry an approximate of 90 people, depending on how many were gnomes(!). The Horde had sent Ironblood, an orcish battleship covered in iceblue saronite spikes, making boarding it at sea next to impossible. The ship was heavy, and could be used as a battering ram against other ships. Ironblood is a testament to the Hordes strenght and pride, and could carry 70 crewmen. The Horde and Alliance had also sent a handfull of diplomats to talk truce with the Naga. The diplomats were now leaving the ships to gain latest intelligence at Theramore Keep, by Lady Jaina herself. Sailors were preparing the ships for voyage once more, as they would be setting sail shortly. In the western side of Theramore, a handfull of undead sorcerers were opening portals to Orgrimmar, summoning in the adventurers that had been hired from their faction. In the eastern end, Alliance adventurers were emerging from their portals.

Though most of them knew what they were doing here, Jeremy Withehouse had been instructed to welcome the adventurers as they gathered at the staging grounds. Wearing a black toxido the human first greeted welcome in Common, next in Orcish. "Welcome everyone, to the glorious city of Theramore! We're happy to see so many has taken up the call to restore peace to Azeroth, and we're proud that you wish to do so! The Diplomats are recieving final instructions before they'll be boarding the Silver Wing. All adventurers should make their way down towards the docks, and board Ironblood as soon as you find it possible. Due to restricted room, you're asked only to bring one pet, summon or helper in any other way. We'll be setting sail shortly, get a move on!" With those words, the adventurers were lead down towards Ironblood, wich would be sailing up front.

    -------------------------------------------------------

Stepping up over the walkplank a young Draenei was moving. Wearing a long white robe, she was carrying a little cage with a bird inside. Seemingly, the magic interference on the island would make teleports and portals impossible, so she had prepared this little pidgeon with a message to Morzath, if anything should happen. Xana was the first to step up to the Orchish crew manning Ironblood. Though they seemed to dislike the thought of sailing with alliance troops, they were also hoping this could bring more peaceful times. "Greetings." Xana spoke in a fluent orchish, before she with respect for Captain Thunder Jaw made a slight bow. "Blood and Honor, Captain Thunder Jaw. May our trip at sea bring renewed peace." The Draenei's greeting was met by a low nod from the Captain.

Appearing through the portal, Valeth looked around to the keep surrounding him. The stench of Theramore intoxicated his nostrils, for he prefered the more plesant smell of Eversong. He choked for a mere second.

Dusting himself off from what came with him from Orgrimmar, he began mumbleing to himself. "Alliance filth. I'm surprised that we're making this little deal in order to deal with the Naga. I would rather gut these mongrels where they stand.". Regaining his posture, he began approaching the docks.

Hearing the calls coming from the human who was calling to the arrivals, Valeth locked onto the Orcish ship in the distance. Waving his hand at the Blood Elven guard following him, they both approached the vessel. As he got closer, he continued his mutterings. "Peaceful diplomat? Hah! I would rather get into some more practical action, than travel with the pansies on that praceful vessel. The Naga are more likely to burn that down that listen to their bickerings.".

As he reached the Orcish ship, he stepped on. He ordered his guard to take care of the plesantries, as he conjured a chair to sit upon. As it formed out of thin air, he sat down, waiting.

    * Feanor walked down the pathway leading to the docks.

Keeping his hood low Feanor walked towards the Alliance ship. As one of the oldest members of the Kirin Tor, and the most secretive, Feanor had been sent to watch this historic meeting and to make sure Lady Jaina came to no harm.

    * As he neared the Alliance ship a guard stopped him.

Feanor flashed his Kirin Tor badge for the guard and the guard stepped out of the way allowing Feanor entrance onto the Night Elf vessel.

Archilios, his armor polished to be almost reflective and his hair perfectly groomed, walked on deck, his hands clasped behind him. He had been told that this boat was to head to an island, where the Naga wished to have negotiations. He was here to protect the ambassadors, and ensure that the Naga wouldn't do anything foolish.

Nodding curtley to the captain, he went off belowdecks to his assigned quarters, prefering not to talk with anyone. Sitting down on the rough bed, Archilios began to meditate. He would need to be fully prepared, both mentally and physically, for what was going to happen.

Valakin approached the vessel, following his master. His job was to protect the Lady Kirana, a druid of the Cenarion Circle. He had been wary about the job at first, but as it turns out, Kirana was a bright young druid instead of an old strict one. They got along well, and this looked to be an easy job. Kirana was off to the diplomat boat, and he boarded Ironblood.

((Question: Would an embassy of the druids be on the diplomat ship? And I'm assuming Valakin would be with her. I'll edit it in when I know which to board.))

(( The Sha'tar have posted guards on the Elven vessel. The "mercenaries" or "guardsmen" wichever you prefer, are on the Horde ship and will secure the landing site at Kel'dor. ))

In the background the Thunder Jaw's voice bellowed, causing unease amongst some of the humans. "Set sail men!" As the monstrous Ironblood got cut loose from the dock. Shortly after, the sails were set tall, and Ironblood was gaining speed rapidly. If you looked out over the back of the ship, you could see the same general procedure taking place on The Silver Wing, as the elven ship too was leaving the docks.

Atop a mast, a lookout proclaimed: "Adventurers! Under deck you will find cabins, with four bunk beds a cabin. Find one, settle down, and rest. We won't reach Kel'dor the next couple of hours!"

    ------

Nodding in confirmation to the recent intelligence, Xana lifted herself from the railings of the ship and went towards the stairs leading down into the ship. Walking to the very far end of the ship, she opened up a cabin door and went inside. There she found Archilios.. Noticing his positure, Xana kept quiet and simply sat herself down at the other side of the cabin.
*I sense disturbed magic on that island. Tormented magic, as if someone or something is enforcing the very fabric of wich magic is made* Xana thought to herself.

(( If others wish to join, simply metagame yourself onto the boat. ))

Hearing the news from the lookout, Valeth smirked as he stood up. With a flick of his wrist, his conjured chair dissapeared once more. Travelling down the staircase towards the heart of the ship, he heard some talking coming from a nearby cabin. Peering in, he noticed a Blood Elf and a young Draenei.

Snorting at the strange combination, he continued to the cabin beside it. Entering, he took seat upon one of the beds. Following, his guard did the same on the opposite bed, as they began unpacking their belongings. Valeth sighed, for he didn't really care for such miniscule matters.

After he was finished, he sat back against his bed, pondering the possible outcomes of this journey.

Valakin sauntered belowdecks. He had a few hours to relax, and we was going to take advantage of it. He found the nearest room and fell asleep immediately.

Archilios left his meditative state to find a draenei girl on the other bed. She was... curious... as if he knew her somehow.

Since she was fairly young, he decided to leave the military banter behind, and spoke in a calm, fairly kind, tone. "Pardon me... but do I know you from somewhere, little one? I cannot help but think you are very familiar to me..."

No one noticed the night elf balancing on the fore topmast of The Silver Wing. She watched from above as the crew and peacemakers mingle on the docks. She knew she shouldn't be there, but this opportunity was too good to pass up. Make peace with the naga? she chuckled to herself. Only the young and naive would trust the naga. She pulled her cowl over her face and sat on the crossbeam of the mast. She looked over to the mighty Horde ship. She pulled out some arrows and began to sharpen them with her blade. Good thing I brought extra arrows, she mused.

Feanor stayed above deck for some time. To him, the song of the ocean was similar to that of long open road that he had traveled so many times. He breathed in the ocean air and allowed himself to relax. Times like these where he found peace and solitude were few. His life as a shadow for the Kirin Tor rarely allowed him the comfort he now enjoyed.

He had long ago learned to let his body fall into a reverie, a state of dreaming meditation more powerful than sleeping, and did so now. For Feanor, sleep would only come when he was dead.
