Actually it's not the same...
Seals of Command: Your seals also deal 7% weapon damage each time you swing. In addition, your Seal of Righteousness now hits up to 2 additional targets.
Old Seal of Command: When used with attacks or abilities that strike a single target, this additional Holy damage will strike up to 2 additional targets.
Edit: I missed the fact that now Seal of Righteousness works as Command, well it's enough like the old one if it does about the same damage. I assumed SoR procs from same attacks.

Now after looking it up, I finally found it:

Not even in the Pre TBC Talents,

Did the Original Poster even play Vanilla?
How in the WORLD were you right? Do you have horrible reading comprehension. I will break down his post for you so you can easily understand it :
Is anyone else sad about seeing SoComm going away =( From it's glory days in Vanilla as a chance on hit wtfpwn proc up till live where it's our go to choice for AoE cleaving, i am sad to see it go and it will be missed. Let us have a moment of silence for this amazing seal...
He said it was a wtfpwn proc in VANILLA which it was.
Then he said UP TIL which clearly means it stayed the proc it was in vanilla up til NOW where its an AoE cleave. How in the world was he wrong? Get a clue before you post dude.
Thank you Tonkaden
So... you agreed with me.
He also agrees with me...
Bold part, I didn't say anything that would imply I didn't play then though? I was right about it not doing aoe damage, and I was agreeing with you on the decent burst damage it could do. So why the bold part? =S
My bad, reading your post it looked like you said it had a cleave in Vanilla...
Well true I misread the Original Post, I admit that, but ... that doesn't mean I was wrong about the aoe. All that means is I pointed out a fact that wasn't contested, not that I was wrong...
I obviously do have a clue, I just slightly misread part of his post.
You really, really need to chill.

The RNG in gaining Holy Power can I live with, but the RNG in old SoC was just beyond horrible for a seal that did less damage than SoR unless it procced, which it almost never did. Remember that seals back then was used with the judgement so not only did you do less damage, it also did cost more mana, which was really hard for Ret paladins to gain back unless you used Seal of Wisdom
I miss both Seal of Casino and Seal of the Martyr... I even miss Seal of the Crusader, don't ask me why about the last one though.
Si vis pacem, para bellum.
in comparing to "live" version of SoC - we will get a realy crap.Doesn't seem so bad considering you get 15% weapon damage bonus...
i will miss SoC, it is(was) so funny to pwn trash with it (
The old SoComm was awesome. No lie, I loved it. Mana wasn't an issue if you played your cards properly. Standing in fire, while it sounds retarded, was actually the truth. I can't tell you how many times I wanted/needed the burn debuff from Brutallus.
In PvP, SoComm had the potential to be god mode. I suppose it was during season two(TBC) that this happened, but I can't be certain. I had a pro mage frost nova my partner and blink straight to me. A white crit, SoComm proc crit, and Judgement crit dropped him from 100% to dead instantly. My partner thought the mage D/C'd and couldn't figure out why I was laughing hysterically. Then I started jumping on top of the mage's corpse.
First Seal of Blood, then Seal of the Crusader and now Seal of Command. I am experiencing that awkward naked feeling right now. Why couldn't they just take out Seal of Justice instead? That shit sucks.
