No, that would be something like "reactive" self healing, similar to Shadow priests, feral druids and the like.

Passive means you just stand there, doing nothing, and regen health, even when in combat (like the troll racial).

And in a way the change makes sense. Locks used to need their passive self healing when soloing to prevent downtime. Lock soloing went something like: Cast spells to low mana, life tap to get mana back, go back to casting spells while passive self heal restored your HP. Repeat. With Soul Harvest, you no longer need the self heals. And if you do, you can always Drain life.

In what way have you noticed a big difference? In pve you have healers healing you and with soul link and nether ward you still take way less damage then anyone else, in addition to still having passiv self healing, so i dont see the problem there. In arena i only play 3s and my healer says he have noticed fuck all difference as far as healing me is concerned. So where is it you are actually noticing this change?

If youre affliction you can drain life and get healed up pretty quick while still doing some damage. Not "passive" but still.

just another baddie emo rage quitting imo. if you need self passive healing this much, you must be one of those locks who lifetap to 20% health and expect the healer to catch you up while standing in the fire

While the change to Fel Armor does take its toll in the eyes of players, it should never have been a change so dire that it was a make-or-break mechanic of the fight.

Made warlocks what they are? I'm pretty sure using the nether itself and the creatures inside with the powers of Felfire and darkness were more around the warlocks base formation, not the glowing shield that pops over their head every now and then that keeps their body a little more uppity. If you loved the warlock for a passive healing mechanic, and refuse to play one if you don't have it, then by chance the population of bad warlocks MIGHT just go down.

soul harvest is 30 sec cd burn a mob or two or hell even 10 if you can kill them fast enough an not get owned
life tap and soul harvest, i didnt once have to drink or eat from 80-85 leveling even in dungeons after few pulls tap an SH an healer doesnt even need to waste mana on me. You are complaining over a great change providing no points other than qq give me what i want or i quit grow up kid i mean really locks are a fun class and have had MOSTLY good changes since shadow bolt spam back in The Burning Crusade

Quit crying we have soul harvest, you're complaining to much about doing nothing and getting nothing in return. I'm a lock 2 and while there are some things that are unfair that blizz has done you play a lock because it's what you have fun doing right? Or did you roll as a flavor class?

You're saying being able to soulharvest out of combat for 18k a tic, drain life, healthstone, get heals while doing damage, death coil and get life from haunt isn't enough? While being a pure dps class? Next thing we'll see you post is "not only should I be able to sit there like a tard and get free heals I will also quit being a warlock unless I don't get a shield that stops people from damaging me... cuz being hit sux"
