    Check your PC for dust.

Clear out the heatsink on the CPU and the graphics fan. Just get a hoover in there and hoover what you can, don't push it hard against the boards otherwise you will knock stuff off -.-. If the hoover isn't strong enough in the heatsinks, I suggest trying compressed air, or get some cotton buds to push the dust out.

Well I'd downgrade to windows XP. Really the only thing you could do to help your performance. Also please don't type like you are 5.

Bashing? He's telling you straight up what the problem is, it's old. Someone pointing out to you the real issue, is not always a negative comment.

He wasn't bashing. He gave you solid advice and a good response. It might not be fun to hear, but it's simply the truth.

There might simply be too many people in Orgrimmar. All you could possibly do is downgrade to Win. XP. There's no "quick fix" with such an old system. Even upgrading components wouldn't be worth it anymore.

You could always try defragmenting your hard drive. In addition of course to what the others have said.

i already stated in my first post that my computer wasnt any good so i didnt see the point in him pointing that out. and when i first installed windows 7 my system worked like a champ and that was like 6-7 mons ago so how is it too old there has to be something else wrong. on another note why soo upset i said bashing its not like i said he was rapping kids or something calm down i wasnt said bashing in the terms like HEY OMG HOW COULD YOU it wasnt that serious i wasnt upset like i said i know its an old computer soooooo any other sujestions ?

Upset? It's more along the lines of this. Many people in this world cannot see between someone being positive or negative. Once they say anything that even SEEMS negative, they automatically consider it as such. Not realizing or caring that there is something in between.

And you just answered your own question, backup your data and reinstall. There's really nothing else you can do because the system is old. And it's only going to get older.

You can move everything on to a data-dvd to be burnt or on an external hdd or something like that. For reinstalling Windows, insert the disk and restart your computer and choose 'boot from disk' and you should be able to follow along from there. If anything you may have downloaded an addon or something that messed up your computer. You might have to just reinstall windows and start completely fresh.

Data as in your pictures, music, documents. If you have a second hard drive or an external hard drive you can copy that information to the secondary drive. As for saving WoW all you have to do is copy the game folder to an external drive then back onto your main drive once you reinstall Windows.

Chances are you have a virus or a program that is slowing things down beyond just world of warcraft. Also you mention a nice large monitor, what resolution do you have the game set to? Chances are it is too high a resolution for this computer to handle well.

might be off topic and this probably will get me some kind of infraction.

but the way this person types and their attitude in said posts
makes me not want to help him play online video games in anyway.

WoW folder alone is going to be 28 to 32GB's so not if you plan to copy WoW.

I haven't played WoW in forever but how much storage does the little thumb drive have? I've seen some that are like 12gb and are incredibly small. I would definitely say you need way more than 4gb of space. I think the base install of WoW is 4gb alone.

Yeah, read above for Culadin's response. I knew it was huge haha.

Mod Warning: Okay, calm down guys...

@Cuzzin, You knew the pc was old. We're only confirming this and telling you there's no simple solution *poof* just like that. What did you expect when posting here? There's no magic trick to make it work again.
