    Disappearing Heirlooms?

    Has anyone had this issue?

Basically, I wanted to level a new Warrior alt. I know I have the PvE dps chest and shoulders, since I used them on my Paladin and Death Knight.

However...they are missing. I checked every character, every bank, and they are missing. I definately didn't have them on a character I've deleted, and I know they can't be mailed to the wrong character since its bind on server account.

So I open a ticket. After explaining it several times to a GM (since apperently he didn't understand the question) it seems...I have to go grind for them again.

So yeah, great. My heirlooms disappear and Blizzard doesn't know a thing about why. Also this GM seemed to not understand how BoA's worked, and asked if I mailed them to another player. Yeah, real confidence in your abillities there.

You'd think that BoA items would be logged on a database or something. Otherwise why call it Bind to Account?

Anyone else have this happen to them? A guildie said something similar happened to him, but that he 'didn't really care enough to do anything about it.' Still a crap thing to happen!

File another ticket or post in the help section on the Official WoW Forums. No one here can do anything to help you.

Usually a GM would be able to track your items...

    Basically this.

Put in another ticket explaining the situation again, and that the other GM told you that you would have to grind for them again.

When I had a misunderstanding like this, the GM that I got promptly corrected the situation.

Here my advice, go to curse install Altoholic, log into every character quick open every bag and bank, then once their all done, type in the search bar on the add on for the name of the heirloom to find it, incsae you overlooked it

Pro tip: Don't misplace something, likely months ago, and expect someone to be able to magically find it for you. You don't even know what character you had the items on, blaming Blizz for not being able to find it is childish. Own up for being an item losing tard and refarm your precious JP. Should take you the better part of a few hours with the DK and Pally of yours.

This happened to me once aswell, GM said he couldn't find although I am 10000% positive I had the items as I used them to level other characters.

Something similar happened to me. I finished leveling a toon and mailed the heirlooms to my alt that I was going to level next. However, having 4 toons at max level I never got around to log on to the alt and the 30 days in the mail period probably expired evaporating the items...

Had the same, GM couldn't help me either.
Made new ticket, no luck with that GM

Lost 3 heirlooms in a server xfer and it took me 3 tickets to get a GM willing to do some work and help me out. Advise? Keep on ticketing.

This sounds like the most likely scenario to me. I forget to log onto my alts all the time, often for months between checks.

Same thing happened to my caster mace. I sent all my boa's to my lock, transferred servers, didnt even hand out the mace, and when I looked for it a month or so later it was gone. Put in 2 tickets, and got the go buy a new one twice. GW2 can't come soon enough.

I've had it happen to me aswell, and 2 of my guildies too, GM ''couldn't'' help either, he said I didn't have the heirlooms to begin with, while I am sure I had the full cloth caster set as I have lvled a mage, priest and warlock recently wich all had the heirlooms... the head en cloak included, wich is going to be costing me another ~3k-ish.. great.

Edit: I know it wasn't in my mailboxes on one of my alts, as I log all 10 of my characters everyday just to look in the mailbox for auctions getting sold/bought.

A while back they made heirloom items white items for a brief amount of time. I am wondering if you could ave sold them accidentally? They fixed it 2 weeks ago and made then yellow quality again, so now your items are the same as when you bought them. Many people were almost deleting/selling the items.
Kind of pathetic how the GM asked if you mailed them to another player, lol.

I don't know about you but I had once forgotten to send back the heirlooms to my main before i deleted the toon with heirlooms. Luckily GM was able to restore my character and i got them back.

Do this, great addon if you have multiple alts and lots of BoAs. It will also tell you when something is in a characters mailbox (granted you had altoholic on when you mailed it or checked the mail on that toon with Altoholic).

If you still can't find it, my best guess is you mailed it to a toon, 30 days passed it was returned and another 30 days passed and it was deleted. I've lost a few BoAs from that myself.
