Obviously I'm trying to point out here that the Draenei males lost their neck, unlike before. Of course they don't have realistic proportions, that's not what the OP is talking about either I guess.

This, and concerning actual genuine models... it's art. For a fantasy game. It's not expected to be realistic, accurate or even uncontroversial. Believe it or not you have a right to dislike art but at the same time that doesn't mean the art has to change. They definitely stretched something on the new Draenei model, either his torso or his legs. Maybe they felt shortening the neck would help compensate for that so male Draenei players aren't suddnely a whole foot taller?
It is pretty impressive they managed to make him look even more like a fridge.
