I also like how more of it is consistently set in the North now, what with Sansa's POV moved from the Eyrie to Winterfell. King's Landing and Essos are fine and all, but the North is pretty awesome imo.

Same here. I cannot understand why anything going on in Dorne right now should matter to me. They haven't built up the story line enough, the acting of the new characters is horrid, and all I can think about when I do seem them is that Obyron had to die for this thread to continue. I miss him.

Holy fuck S5E8 was insane. Some of the best cinematography yet with the silence as the boat drifts away from the shore.

Episode 8 and 9 sure made up for the slow pace of the rest of the season. Episode 8 was simply one of the greatest moments in the entire show. Episode 9 had some very cheezy CGI and action shots, but I can easily forgive that.
I like all storylines at the moment, except the one with Arya, which is painfully slow and vague.

I think HBO wants 10, but D&D wants 7 or something, might be the other way around aswell, so 10 aint impossible, but I doubt they will do more than that, if they want more after that it will be spin-offs, like Dunk and Egg, Roberts rebellion or something like that, as a new series. Game of Thrones will end when its done, (hopefully in a somewhat same manner as the books will, even tho 2 books is still not out yet) it wont be milked for more.

ten might be a bridge too far, even if theoretically we all think we want to watch Game of Thrones ever year for the rest of our lives. Eight seasons seems like the most logical of solutions.

The single largest problem for prolonging the serie would be the continuous recontracting of these actors with paycheck demands that skyrocket astronomically.

Meh, if they ask too much, kill them off. It can be done.

Richard. E. Grant cast for new season!

Great actor, great news, can't wait to see his character and how he portrays it!

Thought I'd bump the non-spoiler thread ahead of Season 6 with the season 6 trailer:

As always, no spoilers in this thread.

  14. #5154
    Bump.

People may prefer to use this thread, if they want to avoid episode leaks.

  15. #5155
Just as a reminder: this is the thread that doesn't allow book spoilers or unaired episode spoilers (per the first post). Since we're past the book timelines, I'd say such things are allowed now in spoiler tags. Recently aired episodes usually have a grace period where people considerately use tags, but by mid-week that custom usually falls to the wayside.

Great episode. Interested in learning how they all react to Jon's revival.

Feels like some of this could have happened in the first episode though which was just plain bad.

AHHH! Zombie!!! Kill it with fire!
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side
