Shadowlands goes live globally today, releasing at the same time for everyone!

World Quest Changes
World quests are still very similar to how they have been in the past. The only thing that has changed is that there are only a few up per zone at at a time. Furthermore, they sometimes are a little more involved than what you would expect because of how few there are.



  • World quests reward 125 reputation with the faction of the zone they are in.
  • World quest rewards include"
    • Extra reputation
    • Gold
    • Anima
    • Gear
    • Conduits


Covenant Callings
Callings replace emissaries and function similarly to them in that three are available at a time and they last 3 days.


  • Callings are available in your Covenant Sanctum. They appear as daily quests from NPCs and can be seen in your quest log and Covenant menu once you pick them up.
  • You can preview the available Callings and rewards from your Sanctum Report window from anywhere in-game.
  • Callings don't always ask you to do the same things. You could be asked to do world quests in specific zones, collect anima, collect items from Torghast, or several other options.
  • Callings reward caches with chances at gear, anima, and more.


Professions Preview
Professions have gotten some new additions and changes in Shadowlands! Check it out!



Shadowlands World Bosses
Shadowlands has 4 new world bosses that cycle much like in BfA and Legion. One boss will be active per week and they all drop item level 207 gear as well as many different conduits and legendary recipes. They will likely go active on December 8th when Castle Nathria launches.




Shadowlands Mounts
A ton of new mounts are coming with this expansion! Check out our preview below!

    Honestly i hate guides. Wish people would just learn things in game with their group/friends. That's more fun anyway.

    You dont have to read guides, youll understand how everything works in under 1 week by playing the game.

    Man if i didn't visit mmochampion i legitimately would not know it was coming out this week let alone today. Is there just not marketing this time? Legion and BfA were basically unavoidable in banner ads, youtube adverts and twitter spam in the weeks before launch. This post is straight up the first thing saying Shadowlands is out today i've seen.

    I am ready for the lag. Evident the servers can't cope with large groups with them Rares in ICC... :|

    Though maybe ICC wasn't sharded, so hopefully it'll be a non-issue?

    My theory is that his "Method" might be slower than something you can just read/watch and he does not want to be "Behind" just for playing the game the way he wants to, Or maby he just dosen't want the "Bad" players to be able to be as fast with information & progress as he is.

    I get very Anxious about new expansions.. as all these new systems and things just feel very overwhelming, so i appriciate these guides very much.

    THen that is a him problem. He shouldn't be trying to dicate how everyone should play so he can play his way. HE needs to paly his way and not think aobut what everyone else is doing.

    We'll see if they manage to provide a proper sense of character growth, I doubt it, but would like to be proven wrong. Probably won't buy Shadowlands until 9.1 or 9.2 though. The game design of Shadowlands is waaaaaay too close to BFA still for a purchase from me.
