Thanks man - Was curious how much more detail could be jammed into those models.. they start to look too busy with more detail, which is probably why the art style works so well.. nice and clean.

Looking forward to this next model update.. really hoping for wildhammer options and I cant wait to play with the new models. ;P

    ps: Thanks Narna

Wow. Such hair. Much modelling Skills. So epic tease.
It's a lot like what I'm going through with my upcoming spin off series which is both in syndication and live as of this fourth quarter, the first of its kind, featuring 20 year old sitcom footage with digitally altered scenes and digitally inserted actors from the future creating subtle alterations in the time line altering the events of previous episodes and leading to grandfather paradoxes the whole family will be sure to enjoy. The cameos of the present day Will Smith are hands down the highlight of my day, but oh so rare. I'm not even sure why Mr Smith selected me to be his costar from the future, but it's probably due to my striking similarities with L Ron Hubbard. I know I'm excited about working with virtual actors from the past and discovering new ways of extrapolating narrative from the pre established. This will be much more than an evolution of prequels and remakes, this will be a pre-make, and only George Lucas could have made it possible.

I think you know what I'm saying.

The Sunfury would, in effect, be the blood elves that traveled with Kael in the TFT campaign, and would reflect that more dangerous attitude. They'd be built differently, stand differently, have different hairstyles, tattoos, etc.

IE, WC3 blood elves (Sunfury), TBC blood elves (Silvermoon). In my own Subrace concepts, I throw in the "Winnowed," as well, basically Wretched that have begun to recover due to the reignited Sunwell, but are still shunned by the rest of the blood elves.
Like Rommath and a contingency of Outland hardened Spellbreakers. I was thinking about them in my earlier mock up of Franken-modding with Shocs tweaks I requested. Blood magi who in Outland embraced the ways of the warlock, some with the fanaticism to dabble with Illidan's perversions.

And I love to imagine rogue Illidari roaming Outland as well. Disillusioned Spellbreakers.

So many things to explore and wildly speculate upon, such prolonged time scales. *watches clock*

    Weeeeeeird.

You know something I think WOW would be perfect for is a depth of feild effect in the engine.
I know some people, especially the painfully mypoic and literal who question how they can't focus their eyes on certain places in real life as if that's legitimate criticism of the effect, despise the effect. I understand how it can be annoying.

To me it makes a game feel like I'm in a simulated cinematic universe where the laws of physics are different but so consistent it does nothing more than bolster my sense of being immersed in an animated illustrated alternate reality. It makes me feel like I'm in both a pop up book and a painting.

Surprisingly to me, when I asked Chris Robinson about it, he said they've apparently dabbled with it in house a lot. But he prefers pristine view distances and seems uninterested in the effect to me on a personal level. He then said really beyond both his own desires it's a matter of consolidation of resources.

If they've dabbled with a depth of field effect before, i wish they'd simply add the option to WOW, it seems intrinsic to the game's visual style to me. It was created to make the illusion of illustration and cinema come alive in gaming worlds, and it's a real effect if you take a pencil in your hand and hold it up in front of your room, your room goes fuzzy and your pencil and hand are sharp.

It makes WOW feel like a living pop up book in machinima, I love when Baronsoosdon makes used of it.
Sadly I think it will never come, but machinima makers are dying for an in house option.

I can't play Skyrim anymore without the depth of field mod and I can't believe how much it sucks me into the game when it's used.
It makes me feel like I'm like down inside a real diorama, ala Honey I Shrunk the Kids meets Beetlejuice style meets,... Skyrim.

I hear that on DOF - In my opinion, it should be used with the distance fog... tone that fog down to like 25-50% and add a DoF with the same ranges as fog start and fog finish... so the distance slowly fades out - its something the players cant 100% focus on anyway.

Christ in a motherfucking cartoon, that looks almost photo-realistic.
My computer's alright, but I think running Skyrim like that might make it cry.

Mad as a hatter, sir. And that's quite the fetching hat. My friend Brom wears one just like it,...

But I'll let it slide. I'm really caught up in softcore Neanderthal porn, the kind with actual emotional relationships, Red Shoe Diaries meets Caveman (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082146/) meets Quest for Fire, meets Free Willy.

It actually has no effect on frame rate, it even IMPROVES frame rate by putting less tax on the system with sharper textures being blurred or something. If you have Skyrim, try it! I urge you and endorse it with all my internal organs.

How terribly convenient that I just started a new playthrough. I'll surely be trying that mod out tonight, thank you kindly for the tip - it must be fate!

I get what you're saying but I don't think this dichotomy exists. Having different options for the core model would be cool, however.
Start trying to work out who deserves what, and before long you’ll spend the rest of your days weeping for each and every person in the world.

Haha Fel-Human? I'll make one for fun I guess but it won't make a lot of sense lorewise

What sub-races are there for Humans? So far I was thinking Azotha Vrykul descendants), not sure what else there is.

What about those sick necromancer/Cult of the Damned face-paint model presets?

The rest of your work rocks, by the way, and I imagine Blizzard has taken notice and taken notes!
