Well where are they? How does NN remove the ability for current companies to launch sats? Oh they dont? They just stranglehold the market with no competition because they have an oligopoly on the market?
Why havent they worked on this stuff rather than spending money lobbying governments to change laws so they can open up their earning potential on their current infrastructure already existing that earns them record profits.
Apparently the law says that the FCC has no legislative powers to either introduce or remove something that affects citizens (net neutrality) and that their vote most likely violated constitutional laws too. Then apparently they refused an investigation into the fraudulent fcc comments, which means this could be seen as obstruction.
It's going to be a rocky road for the FCC the next months.
Go read the FCC rules.
Go on, ill wait.
Good, did you see the part where no more then 3 people from the same party can be on it? And each serves for 5 years with 1 position changing every year?
so if its 3D 2R (which it was) and a Republican quits Obama had to name a new Republican to replace him?
And that a Democrat's term was up at the start of the year which let Trump change it to 2D 3R instead?

Take it from the Europeans, we know how to run healthcare, you Americans, after decades still do not have any clue.
When governments regulate the important services, healthcare, water, electricity, it results in lower prices and on top of that, they get a cut of the profits which means they can somewhat increase their budgets, without really having to increase the spending of that service on annual basis.
I mean how much do you guys pay for healthcare? I pay €50 a year to the government (solidarity tax), and €72 per year for insurance, on top of that I have another insurance for around €180 per year which insures me for everything in my country and in every nation abroad.
Last time I broke my leg with skiing in Switzerland, I was airlifted to my country, and I paid guess what, €2 for it, another €5 for the medicines, checkups.
I know when I was in the US one of my veneers came loose and I had a $25k bill to pay, which my insurance bargained down to a €100.
- Some things are better regulated when the government is involved, I know Americans see this differently, but it seems like the majority of Americans enjoy to get raped by companies.
Net neutrality by the way does not impede a company to invest into their network, regardless of what the ISPs say. My internet provider has around €8 billion annual revenue, they are regulated by government, and they are spending nearly €1 billion the next 2 years to provide 1 gbps and higher for the entire country by 2019.
Our country has less citizens than the state of NY but still it's investing more money into their network than Verizon has done for the past 5 years (in the state of NY), yet Verizon has nearly 10 times more money available, go figure out what's worse.

Off topic but If Europeans health care was so good then why do the majority have fucked up teeth? Also why do the people with the most critical of conditions come to the USA for surgery? xD

The first is mostly a popular myth because it's a funny thing to joke about, but the second is really a sign of the few things mega-capitalism does well - expensive critical care. Healthcare gets better with the more money you throw at it. So while the US does poorly with general quality of life care, we do really well with high end procedures - provided you can pay for them. Europe/socialist healthcare systems are mostly the opposite. But because high end procedures tend to be the minority, it means our overall quality of care rates pretty low.
On the other hand, Europe isn't as strict as the US is about regulation for new medical procedures. I'd really like to get a certain spinal disc replacement surgery done, but I'd have to go over to Europe for it - more than five years after they started doing them over there, the FDA here still hasn't even started the trials to get it on the path to approval.
Infant mortality rate is a good indication of how good your country does in healthcare, you are the only 1st world country in the top 10.
Cancer death rates and frequency rates is another good way to see how the healthcare does, you are ahead of Europe in deaths related to cancer (annually), but you are trailing behind in the amount of cancer cases (annually), which means you're more likely to do die from cancer in USA than in Europe.
Keep laughing at our healthcare, we only live 2-4 years longer than Americans do on average.

Most of them do not have fucked up teeth, I mean I rarely see them, and if they are it's because they are alcoholics or not hygienic in general. In my country you have a yearly... obligatory and free checkup for your teeth and they pretty much fix anything for free, and if you refuse to go it means they reduce your medicine reimbursement from 95% to 50%, so most people here have good teeth. Not sure why teeth aren't that great in other countries like the UK.

i just realized something else. with the removal of net neutrality gamestop bought itself a stay of execution with digital games since a lot of people won't be able to "afford" digital and all the bandwidth it uses.
r.i.p. alleria. 1997-2017. blizzard ruined alleria forever. blizz assassinated alleria's character and appearance.
i will never forgive you for this blizzard.
