I don't get why anyone is "hoping" that warm weather will fix this all up. We have medicine. We have doctors. We have procedures. Hoping for the weather to fix it you might as well be wishing on a star, or checking your horoscope!

Not sure why you are surprised at this. This is a global pandemic in an interconnected globalized world. The virus isn't going to somehow limit itself. Everything we know about and have known about it for the last month strongly suggests its going to crop up just about everywhere, as infected people travel and infect others as they travel. Those will then act as seeds for new clusters which in turn spread it even more widely.

Washington had the United States’ first confirmed case of coronavirus, announced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Jan. 20. See here's the thing, there honestly needs to be more push for trade schools to be just as acceptable to go to as going to college for a 4 to 8 year degree. Because someone does need to do those jobs, and trade schools won't land you into the same mountain of debt.
