I only fought it once underleveled (my world leveled while going to its island and I didn't realize it leveled the bosses too...
I learned very quickly that it can kill its own pillars in its active phase. The downed phases is similar to the electric boss where you can melt through it if you combo quickly.
Resident Cosplay Progressive
Raged hard at that one. Have Noelle but couldn't break the pillars fast enough.
Not a cube, but I got really pissed at the water elite. It just summons other monsters you kill, which was going fine for awhile. But then it summoned like four birds. I can't hit them. They're too far for melee, and they dive so fast I can't charge one shot with Fischl. By the time I eventually was able to kill one, the spirit summoned some thing under my character that drained their health incredibly super fast. I left, and just assume I won't get to ascend barbara for awhile.
You realy need a cyro character for this fight. Fire also helps a little, but not much. You shouldnt bother aiming those birds with ranged character. Just get close enogh (but not to close) and fire fast. Its pretty easy with Fischl, but with Amber... well that sounds anoying.
Boars are much more anoying tho. You gota get rid of them 1.st before you go after the birds. However the big birds are the ones you gota watch out as their stream will take out 20% of your health minimum and if all 3 hit you....
Well i also managed to save up 3100 primos for a banner somehow (dailys, achivments, chests that i missed as they were well hidden). Will see tommorow if i get lucky, but i wont hold my breath to much.
Try doing bosses before you hit appropriate rank/level and without dumping tons of resources on artifacts you don't intend to use. I tried wolf boss at like AR20 with lvl 40 people and base level 3 star artifacts. I was hitting for like 200 and it took a solid 20 minutes, in addition to constantly being unable to find good windows to get more than 1 attack in (I don't run with any ranged people, save lisa who isn't really "ranged").
@BeepBoo
But that is the thing, you get stronger and kill then get stronger and kill even stronger version of it.
I brute forced electro hypostatis tho. It took a lot of time.
At least for me, there is gameplay I want and then inconviniences I don't that I sometimes stomach. As far as this game is concerned, I have probably 40 hours of play, but only 10 of that is something I'd consider actual enjoyable gameplay. The rest of it is wasted running/jogging-while-waiting-to-run-again, "exploration (which I don't personally give a damn about), and running boring repeat content to deplete my resin since that's the only real way to get higher AR.
Conversely, the main story, the novelty of the domains/temples/dungeons/etc are the real meat I stick around and try to get to. I'm down for doing the more challenging content as well, but that's few and far between currently. Especially if I want to do said stuff with friends.
Put it like this: say the person bought $100 worth of rolls. Now that they've reached the end, do they feel like they've gotten $100 worth of game content, compared to something like a normal AAA $60 RPG (witcher 3, etc)? In basically every gacha game, the answer is no. It's why they're called gacha. Because they "got ya" ---> "gotcha" ---> "gacha" with a foolish money scheme and got you to spend more for less than you otherwise would due to idiotic peanut brains that get rushes from casino slot pulls.
TL;DR: most people who whale in gacha games are either hoarders or people who get buyers remorse and burn out when they realize the value isn't actually there and the "exclusivity" of having something means dick-all when there's nothing meaningful to do with it. Ergo, don't... fucking... spend... the... money...

I mean i fought the wind boss when i was really low level and yeah it took awhile but hard? Nah. Im close to ar 39 and combat doesnt get hard, but mobs sure do become damage sponges

Meh. Even at almost 39 i love logging on and just doing whatever. Plus i finished the bp a few days ago
I guess it just depends on what you mean "hard." You're probably someone who has a lot of patience and doesn't riski-ly push for that extra hit of damage when it might mean you get whacked in return. Or that you don't blow stamina constantly doing charged attacks. Or maybe your main is a ranged person. Did you ever play darksouls/sekiro? I'm curious to know what you think about those games' combat difficulty.
For me, the epitome of combat difficulty in a video game is by analyzing how hard it is to perfect something, but they really need a leader board for that. What I mean is anyone can spend 10 minutes without swapping characters and kill a boss relatively cleanly. I always try to push that to be riskier and faster. That's where the skill comes in. Necessary for success? No. Necessary for adrenaline filled fun? Absolutely.
Yep. Gatchapon. They are pretty much those machines you used to see in drug stores that would have candy or little toys in them for like $25 or something. They don't really exist in the US anymore outside of maybe gumball machines but they are still really popular in Japan. The name actually comes from the sound the machine makes. "Gatcha" for when you turn the crank and "pon" for when the plastic bubble with the toy inside pops out.
I have a conspiracy theory that the game devs are giving Twitch streamers better drop rates on wishes... or something. I really would have no idea why our gamer ID is on the bottom right of the screen all the time otherwise.
I find none of the bosses to be very difficult except for the oceandis fight since those adds can really hurt.
The Alliance gets the Horde's most popular race. The Horde should get the Alliance's most popular race in return. Alteraci Humans for the Horde!
