Dendro will probably be in about 3 months (this patch, next patch, then Dendro area). That's still speculative so it could be off by a patch or two, but seems likely.

More variety will likely come with time. Honkai (their other game) introduces new weapon types from time to time, and for a number of characters their animations are a bit divorced from the weapons they wield.

Haha, true. I'd be surprised if they didn't release a Dendro character on launch of 3.0 since it's a brand new element, but I guess there's no actual reason for it to not be a few patches in.

Im not playing her with Diluc anymore...this seems better and more fluid in terms of bursts.

Friendship lvl 1. Literally unplayable.

Ended up taking a shot and got Yelan at pity 40. Still have a bit saved up to get Kuki. R4 Stringless, 2 piece heart and 2-piece Tenacity. Torn on crit chance versus crit damage helm. Seems like it'll be a rough go either way without one of those stats on the bow (I could use Viridescent Hunt, but eh).

Kokomi can have a 100% hydro uptime if you time it well and CC mobs to stay near yellyfish.

I just tried

Childe + Yelan + Xiangling + Beidou

And not even like this the Hydro falls off EVER...the electro buff pops up right besides the hydro one...but the Hydro NEVER drops.
And all of this with a Xiangling burst up.

Man, I was lucky not to have done Ruin Serpent even once before this patch. Now that I got cursed with Yelan I also have to do this shit boss, and I think he just dethroned Golden Wolflord as the most obnoxious boss yet. At least you could kill him in 5 seconds after a minute of afking. This guy has all of the wolflord's shittiness paired with 10x the HP. Can't even burst him down because you get 5 seconds of uptime on him and 10 seconds of running around inbetween. Just screw you, Mihoyo.
