That's the whole point! You are not needed or wanted there! We just accidentally stumbled upon it and decided to take every resource we can to use to slaughter the other side. Pandaren didn't ask for that, they just want us to leave and leave them the hell alone. Our war stirrs the Sha and many other ancient evil, so in the end, we'll just be cleaning up our own mess.
I loved the cinematic. Especially the humour of Chen and the ease with which he fights, and wins.
So.. What part should I have gotten shivers?
I really expected more of this cinematic and am disappointed. To me this is the worst cinematic out of all we have seen. I know I will certainly get flamed for saying this but I didn't see any epicness in it. For the first time while watching a WoW cinematic I was hoping the trailer would end sooner..
My opinion:
You can call me an "idiot" or someone who is always whining, but I don't think that trailer is as much epic as the previous ones. Maybe it's because there is no Super-Villain, like Deathwing, Arthas or Illidan. This trailer disappointed me because of this "harmony" talking, it could be maybe because I really love Kung-Fu movies(I mean the real Kung-Fu, not action movies, like "The Fearless" with Jet Li), saw many of them and this is just repeated from them. I also don't like how Blizzard shows us Pandarens who are better than Orcs and Humans in fight, there should be something more than just "3 humanoids fight"(yeah I saw Pandaria and boats but for 5-10 sec, these landscapes could be also very unique for someone who has never seen China(eastern Asia) in the real life or in the Internet). I didn't say I don't like it, because I like it. But for me it doesn't better than Cataclysm Trailer(I don't mean expansion, I mean trailer), I don't even want to talk about WotLK trailer, which was the most fantastic trailer I've ever seen in my life, it still gives me shivers and this epic feeling.
Chen's speech actually made me cry a bit.. Quite funny and Emotional at the same time.. See you all in Pandaria!
I think people who have issue, have issue because there is no defined Bad guy, or so they think.
"If you want to control people, if you want to feed them a pack of lies and dominate them, keep them ignorant. For me, literacy means freedom." - LaVar Burton.
Loved the Cinematic!
And I really don't get the problem! Sure, there's no "big fat end-boss" in it... but hey, maybe It'll all go back to "Alliance Vs. Horde" in the end?! and in my opinion they showed that a little in this animation! - well done, well done.
Okay haters, go on! ;P
Very well done and exciting. Isn't that Chen who beats them down? Can't blame the human and orc when they're tired from A) swimming to shore and B) running around, winding themselves before he shows up.
Loved it, well worth the wait. All the trolls saying kung-fu-panda still have no idea where the pandaren originate.
Great trailer, just a pity MoP itself isn't as good.
Really nice
Epic trailer!
I loved the trailer, it sets the tone nicely, alliance and horde (Symbolized by the poster-boy races) taking their old fights to Pandaria, wrecking everything within range as they go (Breaking up scenery for weapons, or just when kicking each other around), and the Pandaren who live there trying to stop the fighting and repairing what they can of the mess Alliance and Horde made, personally i love the straightening of that signpost bit, probably a reference to "Kung fu panda" to emphasize that people haven't stopped whining about that since MoP was announced :P
Really, WoW never really was all that serious to begin with, and maybe it's time everything's not (immediately) focused on a bad guy with emotional issues, that spiel has been done to death (And beyond it, in Wrath :P ) by now.
