Yeah, he will get accidentally killed after successfully escaping, like choking on a cherry.
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

The true irony here is his sword was the Oathkeeper. But it was big Breean that named it anyhow.

    1) What exactly is wrong with incest? Especially in this world where their children dont have retardations
    2) What child did he kill?
    3) Seems like the same point as the first one, except that he forced himself on his own woman
    4) Would you rather he listen to the king and burn everyone and kill his father?

You dont have to like Jamie at all, I just dont get your reasons

That Stark kid, who mind controls Hodor and other animals. The kid survived the murder attempt performed by Jamie, he wanted to murder the kid because he saw them incesting, which is apparently is not so normal. ANd of course politics. Fucking the queen while not being the King is a no-no.

    Agree that wasn't a rape.

Either that or quit his job.

Except there is. It was called something like "curse of Targayren", rolling dice with the sanity of the child due to massive inbreeding

More like: Everyone in the story is a person.

Much more believable than the nonsense altruistic, paragon of virtue versus the mad, despotic, baby-eating villain that is the usual fantasy fare. There is both good and bad in every character in this series, which rings much truer.

And he killed his own cousin for absolutely no reason.

Oh man this thread is hilarious.

But anyways, I am starting to think that mr. Martin has some kind of psychological trauma he is working out. He literally introduces and develops characters just so they can die in shitty ways. About now, I am just gonna assume Arya will die, The hound is so dead too BTW, Sanza is getting up there since she is becoming more than just a sad little scared girl. And the Only thing keeping John Snow alive is the fact that he is kind of naive at times and uber loyal. But yeah, his days are 100% numbered. And the young one? I suspect Hodor will drop him from a cliff by accident and he is gone too. Tyrion is dead. I don't see him surviving.

Meanwhile the Khaleesi will remain on the far off continent and lose all her power and wind up a whore.

Long live the lannisters (minus Tyrion). The true stars of of the series!!!

The beauty about GoT is that you never know who is going next, I would say those 2 are in the higher regions of not dying, but definitely not immortal. Season 4 apparently has some big events still to come and I wouldn't be surprised if it's a big shock death.

    Like G.R.R.Martin himself?

He didn't need to kill Alton to escape. He could have simply asked for his help, having him pretend to be dead to lure the guard in.

Anyway that scene was stupid, cliche and totally out of character for Jaime.

I can't help but think that Joffrey fit under that description. He might not have been "insane" but he definitely wasn't normal.

Why else would have Cersei have made the comment to Tyrion about how she was worried Joffrey was the price she'd paid for her incest?

It's not a de facto thing. Tommen and Myrcella both seem relatively normal, and they're just as much a product of incest.

Incest itself (including making babies) doesn't lead to anything drastic. Inbreeding does (that's incest squared, cubed, etc). The curse of any royal family.
