I'd give my computer a 3/10 for WoW. I can get decent frame rates but my settings are all the way down low. I don't raid.

when upgrading from e8400 to 2500k i got no fps increase so i assume it's the gpu that is the problem i really hope it is as i have no idea why i get so low fps
WoW is very much GPU dependent, so upgrading your GPU should increase FPS

    Core 2 Duo E8400 at 4.2GHz
    6GB RAM (800MHz DDR2)
    Asus P5Q
    Radeon HD 4850
    Samsung Spinpoint F1 750GB

Ultra without full shadows, 2xAA and 4xAF on 1680x1050. I'd otherwise give it 8/10 for what I was doing with it, which would be 5-10mans, bgs and SW idling. Used to manage that with 30+ FPS without noticable hiccups. Not anymore though, I keep crashing pretty regularly like 10-20 minutes into game, screen displays weird colours and speakers play extremelly annoying sound. Probably my video card finally showing it's age and going bad :P

2/10 (8/10 if you only count 10 minutes of playing :>).

    120gb crucial ssd

10/10 easily. To the guy saying he'd like to see screenshots of people pulling 60FPS in orgrimarr or 25 man raid, it's not like it's impossible. With everything maxed in game and in the nvidia control panel I pull 80 plus at primetime in org. At work so I can't screenshot, plus it's not primetime but it isn't out of the realm of being believable in the slightest. In crysis 2 I sit at a constant 60 w/out it dipping unless I shoot a shotgun into the water, then it drops to 55 :-/

It's very not GPU dependent, even an HD 5770 can keep up with Ultra settings. It's CPU dependent to an extreme, especially in highly populated areas.

-AMD Phenom II 555 Black Edition OC'd to 3.8ghz with stock cooling
    -Radeon HD 5750 1GB OC'd to 825MHz GPU and 1320MHz Memory Clock
    -8GB DDR3-1333 Ripjaw RAM
    -Biostar AMD Motherboard
    -2x 250GB HDD's,1x 2TB HDD
-32 BIT WINDOWS 7 SOMEONE GIVE ME 64 BIT FOR MY RAM'S PuhhhhhLEAAAZE!
-47" LG LCD TV for monitor, obv 1920x1080 res

10/10 Typically wherever I am at, play with most settings maxed out except for the super strenuous ones where my card cannot keep up. Recording with Fraps and playing I would rate my rig at a 6/10 for only recording at about 20-35 FPS.

If someone gave me 64 bit im sure it would be 10/10 for Frapsing too, all that unused RAM.... literally only using 3.25GB of RAM when I have 9GB on the computer.

For WoW, I run it maxed graphics(minus shadows) at 1080p, fps never drops below 30 anywhere (except super-crowded TB spots). 9/10 I'd say.

WoW is not very GPU-dependent, it's much more CPU-dependent. You can use a cheap GTX 460 like me and still run maxed graphics with no problems.

False. WoW is very much CPU dependent, why his FPS is not higher, is beyond me. I was using an even older and weaker card myself before (9800 GT Green Edition from PNY) and was getting better results at full ultra.

    As for my rig:

    i5-2500K @ 4.5GHz
    16GB DDR3 RAM 9-9-9-27
MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II (OC'd to Hawk standards)
    Crucial m4 128GB SSD

That's all that matters really in this discussion.

    9.5/10

Or is either lying their pants off or don't realize what "full ultra" means. I get 35fps on Mal'ganis US at peak hours flying above the AH in Org and looking down with a 4.2GHz i5-2500K... if WoW scaled linearly with CPU speed someone would need a 7.2GHz Sandy Bridge CPU to get 60fps at that location.
    Super casual.

Well, isn't Mal'Ganis also one of the HIGHEST populated servers?

Try a 6 or 7. CPU is old and weak compared to the ones that deserve the 8, 9, and 10 slots. GPU is also older and weaker. And I am just going to assume you run 10 man raids based on 40 fps in Org and 75-80 in raid. 10 man raids don't even compare at all to 25 man raids in terms of the computing power you need to keep high fps in them.

    Specs that matter:
    CPU i2500k @4.6ghz
    RAM 8gigs Corsair Vengeance @ 1600mhz
GPU Asus Radeon 6970 DirectCUII 2GB
HDD 60GB OCZ Agility 3 SSD

WoW runs at a solid 60fps with vsync on for the most part. With vsync off it can hit upto 260-270fps in no population areas. In crowded areas (SW Trade District), it drops down to 30-ish but never below.

EDIT: Running with full Ultra (yes, everything maxed) @ 1920x1080.

So i'd say a 9.5/10. No way i'd give a full 10 unless I had my entire system installed on a bank of SSDs :P

I get a solid 60 FPS on ultra settings anywhere, including during 25M raids. Computer's about 2 years old now & I've yet to put something on it, it can't play max settings at a great FPS rate.

Your OC is really pushing dangerous levels, not because 4.6GHz is too high or anything, but the way you did it is just not at all suggested for Sandybridge. You should really keep your bus speed/BCLK at 100.00MHz and only use the multiplier to OC. What you're doing will really fuck with the PCIe lanes and other things on the motherboard.

10/10. Comp in sig. Built for next gen gaming.

Get an easy 70+ FPS in all areas. 115+ in cities. Haven't played WoW for a while but that's what it was then. Shogun 2 is a pretty demanding game with DX11 and SM5 on all ultra so that's a good test and it runs smooth.
