...Eh? Not to be rude or anything, but yes we clearly have. We’ve been dealing with these threats since Classic.

Idk man, the Jailer’s been doing a lot in 9.1, and Sargeras LOVED destroying shit across the Great Dark.

The Aspects needed the aid of Thrall and the Champions of Azeroth to stop one of their own. Please, what would they do to help us anymore?
The Titans only really helped against Argus, and they were still aiding US while WE battled the Unmaker. Almost everything from Classic to SL involved mortal influence, mainly OUR influence.

“Nzoth was destroyed by mainly Azeroth” No. He was destroyed by the Player Character wielding the Heart of Azeroth. Azeroth’s power is OUR power. And with the Heart of Reorigination, we successfully managed to destroy the Old God once and for all.
Aspects couldn’t pull that shit off whatsoever. Hell, pretty certain the former aspects blessed us with remnants of their power so we could beat down the different types of threats easier, since well...we’re the only ones capable of stopping guys like N’Zoth.
Azeroth’s power is our power
The dragons are now mortal
If a threat like Galakrond returns we have 1 of the former aspects left and let’s face it that’s one sided
Azeroth helped the heroes defeat nzoth and she needs protectors that will not let infighting endanger the planet…she needs a group that knows what it’s like to fall and take up the charge of defending her.
She needs to make new aspects with a clear purpose. Kalecgos, Chromozdormu, Wrathion, Alexstraza, the daughter of Ysera that had 3 lines. Empower them to make sure that life on Azeroth is safe and they will create their own army to make sure they don’t fail. Long live the Dragonsworn.
Half of those have that as part of their explicit powerset. In particular, killing Scourge is only moderately effective since the LK can simply re-raise them, and it was always clear we only banished Ragnaros back to his home plane the first time.
Onyxia actually never came back; Neltharion merely animated her body. She was more of a golem in that fight than even undead. The second time you refer to is just a revisiting of her first fight. Storywise, she stayed dead.
Both Gul'dan's stayed dead once killed. They're seperate characters.
Kael'thas was revealed to have faked his death as soon as somebody took his drop quest to Shattrath. Once we killed him, he stayed dead and has been stuck in Revendreth ever since.
Gara'jal stayed dead. Only his spirit remained. This is in-line with his title of Spirit Binder. It's essentially his job description.
That leaves us with two Trolls in ZG (both of which were brought back through Necromancy) and Neltharion (who was never explained, he just showed up again).
Besides, this is a tiny fraction of the characters in the story. If anything, this list serves to show that it actually doesn't commonly happen and people just let some exceptions cloud their judgement. Most characters stay dead once killed.

If an Aspect lvl threat rises, we'd kill it in a raid tier.
Also, Dragonsworn would basically be like a Mage, or a Druid. Would LOVE to have a Dragonsworn class with the Dragonflights and the Dragon Isles IF 10.0 is Light and Shadow, since it's a unique hybrid of multiple classes and more, but if they do come in the game, Aspects won't be a factor there. The Dragonflights and the FORMER Aspects would be the factor. Wrathion would be a factor, etc.
A better class imo would be a Bard, but I wouldn't be mad if that became a profession instead.

It's a mix, depending on how good of a Troll you are, or what Loa you served and how well you served him/her lmao.

God, people that think we need the Aspects again don't even realize just how shit of a Job the Aspects did. We literally carried the Aspects from our fucking back despite their immense power since Classic. And now, why need the Aspects when we literally can just use Borrowed Power that can push us to about that power, if not beyond that, anyway?

You don't need Chronicle 3 to know he was Undead to serve the Twilight's Hammer. Just do the raid lmao
Said borrowed power needs to come from somewhere... newly empowered Aspects could just be the source of that.

Er, yes, Nefarian. And yes, that was just an anniversary remaster of the original fight, it wasn't actually a story event seperate from it.

The raid doesn't explain why he's back. He just is there. That he's working with the same organisation that serves his father is hardly a surprise, though.
Why does everyone and their mother want newly empowered Aspects? Why do you think their power will do anything against guys such as the Void Lords or shit like that?
We’re past simple Keeper or Aspect lvl threats. The borrowed power we utilize is of much greater might.

Yeah, let’s be empowered by the “New aspects” cause that’s certainly an upgrade from the Eternal Ones and the Covenants after facing Zovaal. Like no.
And why would newly powered Aspects empower us so we fight their battles? Wasn’t the point of the aspects to begin with that they were the protectors of the Planet? So why would these new “protectors” need us to defend the planet they need to protect? This isn’t Cataclsym anymore, we’re literally past the need for Aspects.
Indeed. The whole ending of Cata was about us not needing protectors any more, and that we should take matters into our own hands. Passing the torch to mortals and such. Empowering aspects would kinda undermine it.
That being said, I could get behind a twisted/corrupted versions of aspects, like with Murozond (but different dragons, stop traumatizing our good lizards Blizz pls). I am a sucker for certain anime tropes, like enemy forces being lead by a bunch of strong, distinct characters we have to go after one by one. Warlords (kinda) delivered in that regard.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Because people like Dragons and therefore the Aspects.
Their power will be effective against anything that Blizzard wants it to be.Why do you think their power will do anything against guys such as the Void Lords or shit like that?
Besides, Azeroth is the most powerful titan that we know of, empowered by her they could be stronger than ever before.
Interesting that you are so against it considering your hard-on for anything related to power levels.
?????We’re past simple Keeper or Aspect lvl threats. The borrowed power we utilize is of much greater might.
The power we use is entirely dependant on whatever mcguffin Blizzard throws at us each expansion.
Nvm that it's BORROWED POWER meaning we lose it eventually.

Why is it stupid and why would they ignore it?

People liking Dragons doesn’t mean they’ll give the Aspects their powers back, let alone provide new ones. The Dragonflight leaders still exist, and that’s that.
Azeroth being powerful means nothing of it’s already been established the Heroes are the main protectors of Azeroth now, and whatever foe Blizzard wants to throw at us, we’ll defeat it.
While we do lose the borrowed power, we gain more the expansion after.

My “hard on” for power lvls here makes sense, cause Aspects are fucking worthless
New Aspect blessings don't have to necessarily have the purpose of returning them as guardians.
Just bless them enough to revitalize the Dragonflights, so they can reproduce and not die out in a decade.
Have another titan facility on the Dragon Isles, they use it to gain power and we can then utilize it for ourselves and gain cool dragon powers in the process cause -insert dragon mcguffin tied to the facility-.
