What a shit show for the Horde, the Alliance also. Still I cant blame Sylvanas for following her Warchiefs orders at the end, but they could have at least said to the Alliance that they can not hold the line any longer before retreating. But fook me what was that think at the end, that was some monster of a mech?

Well, if I weren't motivated the fight the Legion before, I certainly am now.

Garrosh would wipe the floor with the Legion and wear Gul'dan spikes on his shoulders.
The same Garrosh who got his ass whooped by green jesus, which seems to have been easily beaten by the Legion? Yeah, right

My guess? A new kind of Fel Reaver capable of deploying like an Infernal.

I'm not talking about him himself, he is a warrior after all with no magic behind him. His commanding skills and the way he operated the Horde would turn Legion into pile of ash!

No, we did not, Thrall did when he cheated during Mak'gora. While I agree that Anduin is a pussy, ther is still chance for him if he turns out to be Arthas's son. Sylvanas is just an unliving nothing, Arthas wiped the floor with her corpse. She is like an old rag from the redt district. Soaking all sort of fluids. Horde needs a male leader, strong one, like, Garrosh! Revive Garrosh!

    Meanwhile in the real world.

Blizzard pruned too many of Varian's abilities, there's no way he could stand up to a warlock. Rotation is just too clunky.

Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life.

I have never been as ashamed of being Horde as I am after seeing this, the betrayal can not be forgiven, and I always thought that Horde stood for honor above all, Durotan, Thrall, all stood for honor, but this, THIS, this betrayal, I am ashamed to be horde and I hope that shriveled up corpse of sylvana gets sucked into the fel and used as slave for eternity

Then you clearly didn't watch the Horde one because that shows they were retreating as they were getting overrun.

Is there a cinematic for the Alliance that covers the aftermath of the Broken Shore regarding Varian's funeral or the Alliance characters mulling over his death?

Or did they just give the Horde another cinematic to wash out the bad taste of us retreating in the other one? :P

I think it was Metzen himself who said long ago that 'for the alliance doesn't quite roll off the tongue the way for the horde does', to just give up and make those King Chin's last words made me sigh at the lack of effort. This was something I used to think a lot about, as I would PvP on both sides, and while horde were always roaring for the horde (even outside of pvp), the alliance never had anything remotely similar.
It would have been so easy to just write up some backstory around Lothar years ago and turn him into the Alliance's warcry (we've had numerous characters built from nothing into something over the years, Lothar lived a hero, died a hero, and it just boggles my mind that despite his huge statue in front of BR Mountain, being universally liked/respected, being the saviour of the alliance, and a powerful warrior, he's a virtual unknown to many alliance players)... which it even used to be as far back as Warcraft2! For Lothar!
For Lothar even rolls off the tongue like for the horde, because the word can fall off into a roar - FOR LOTHAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRR, FOR THE HOOOOOOOOOOOOOORDE, see? It isn't possible to Roar for the alliance, because of all the syllables - al - lie - en - seh - and the way the word ends with a -seh which makes it impossible to lengthen, if you tried it'd either just come out as a long hiss if you emphasised the S sound, or a long whine if you emphasised the EN sound.
    For the Alliansssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
For the Alliaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnce (EEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHH or AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH sound depending on your regional dialect).

As a Horde player, I'm quite jealous that the Alliance cinematic is so amazing. The Horde looked so weak.

    Well played Blizz.

    Top notch cinematics.
The hype is real. Feels like a proper expansion.

Even Varian realized that the plateau was overrun with demons.

Why are people bashing the Horde cinematic? Lol. Anybody with eyes could see that they were about to be overrun with their leaders slowly turning to kebab. Anyone with a brain would retreat from that rofl

Cairne was a fool in the end. Only if he knew his place, things would go differently.

Is there no second Alliance cinematic (with stuff like Varian's funeral, Anduin getting the letter and becoming the new King, etc)?
