Except no one in America is forced to feed their kids cat food. So there's that....

OT - I'm sure he just bought this house so he can share it with other poor families in the area.

600k for a home in New England is middle class. Having 3 modest properties makes you perhaps upper-middle class. I'm not exactly sure what the point of this is, the man doesn't have to be poor to adhere to his principles.

Well, currently he's pretending to be a Purple Heart recipient, but I'm sure there'll be something new by next week.

Manufactured outrage ... coming from the right.

600k is pretty modest now days ... especially for a vacation home and more importantly for someone like him.

well this thread quickly proved republicans did a great job at making people think socialism=communism

oh well, guess we go back to making billionaires, trillionares with big tax cuts and more tax loopholes that the other 99% cant have

God forbid we want to spend some of our tax dollars on the taxpayers for things like education and healthcare.
guess we will continue this corporate/military welfare program that eats up most of our money, because you know it will trickle down to the rest of us eventually.

The house I grew up in was worth $300k in a sleepy part of Virginia Beach. And we were a middle class retired military family. 600k is no big deal for a house. I'd say Sanders got a good deal.

That price probably seems pretty inflammatory to people in the midwest, but it's near the asking price for crummy two story on no land around here. We've known his net worth for awhile now, this is hardly a surprise. It's fun to see the poor Hillary fans realizing she's still running against Bernie and trying to find anything they can to bring him, or anyone who even thought well of him, down. Vicious little ass chewers.

Hillary Clinton spent $100,000 renting a house in the Hamptons for three weeks.

So yeah. This seems like a pretty modest investment by comparison.

The man has three houses. Three.

At least Trump doesn't pretend he's really in it for the "little guy." The devil you know.
And Trump owns whole Hotel chains, and Hillary gets paid almost the worth of that one house for one speech. "Rich, bought-out" He doesn't even come close to the level of personal wealth some other Senaters have.

But more importantly? Why do you care? Why does anyone care anymore? He lost the fucking race already, he tipped his hat to Hillary, there is literally no reason to have an obsession over him and what he does anymore.

600,000 isn't that much for a house. On my salary I can afford the mortgage on a $600,000 house, and so can a large portion of the country.

Ummm, no. There were cases where poor in america were, in fact, feeding their families cat-food. Please pull your head out of whatever dark crevasse you shoved it in.

I don't know, that tasteless cream of wheat that my family fed me as a kid due to poverty is pretty close.

He had a net worth of $528k on July 26th, yet can somehow can clear $600k from a free and clear house he owned on July 26th, that was used to calculate the $528k net worth.

Why wouldn't they simply get food stamps? Or go to a local shelter.
