Maybe some people with brains consider 15M for the item way overpriced?
You always get the first people that put it up for ridiculous amounts, hoping to milk super rich "me first" buyers.
The market then adjusts and puts prices down to a more reasonable level where people actually buy more.
Some are criticizing it as being only a slight DPS gain cos with more heat gen you used Cooldown more often and it generated more damage than the slower buildup RNG procs of the shot combos does. The physical damage buff compensates, but it basically means (so they claim) that heat is easier to manage for less-skilled MCH players while the better ones get less DPS cos they controlled it a lot better with Cooldown. I can see what they're talking about, MCH is basically still more work and less utility than BRD for about the same DPS as BRD.
And now for something completely different: Got FSH to 70 and done with the job quests cos I saw Sea Lamps were cheap as Hell on the MB, burned through 60 or so leves, and with the XP from doing the lvl 68 job quest capped it and finished.
More like 'not buffed' damage. In making heat easier to manage, they didn't buff other things significantly enough to really improve DPS, more just keep it around where it already was, which is bottom of the pack. MCH is basically a worse BRD that works harder to stay worse. Now it's just easier for more people to be that worse BRD that stays worse. It needs to do more damage than BRD, period. And this is coming from a BRD main, I fully believe BRD got lifted up while MCH got knocked down in the mud.
It's still item that has only 1 recipe, glamour hat, which probably isn't that wanted - and thus would sell slower.
Yeah, 15 mil is overpriced - but people could have at least tried to wait a bit instead of each and everyone of them undercutting item by 100k to 1 million each.
Just as a head's up, Wondrous Tails now grants one Timeworn Gazelleskin Map as a reward for filling in all nine seals. That's the map needed for a chance to enter the new version of Aquapolis.
Soon mansion, soon.
..Just kidding, aiming for medium.
Very nice! Are you crafting to get that kind of money? I sold a bunch of Heaven's Eye Materia once Savage released and made about 3-4 million. I got more than enough cracked clusters and I've already melded all my 320 gear with it. I just kept like 8 in reserve as I get more clusters and gear.
Mostly just basic materials; nuggets, ingots and ore, stuff like that. Outside of them, just selling whatever I can get my hands on.

For example Gem Algae, which can be gathered in Ruby Sea is at the moment ~1,000 gil/NQ, and it doesn't take that long to gather. Same deal with Doman Iron Ore, currently quite high of 1500 gil/NQ.
Just requires some patience and knowledge to gather materials that are somewhat higher priced.
Hnnnggghhh...spammed Doman Iron Greatswords yesterday and this morning at 150 red scrips a pop to get 6 of the 8 books...just ARM and CUL left to go. Then I get to finish my melds, cause I need extra control to clear 2* stats unbuffed for my non-specialist crafts. Using nothing but crafted 290 gear, on that note, but you have to go HAM on melds just to clear 2* stat requirements. I'm not overmelding any grade 5s, though, nor using grade 6s (don't intend to do the latter until the SB equivalent of Ironworks arrives).
Opting to try and sell the gazelleskin maps for now. I'd rather run them with friends/fc, but attendance as of late has been hit and miss due to RL stuff going on for various folks.
Should have DRK at 70 after doing roulettes this evening, so that'll cover the trinity for me. The buff to Quietus is fucking nuts for large pulls; with all the mobs in the trash packs leading to final boss of Castrum Abania, you can DA Quietus and still gain MP. Haven't been ballsy enough to try it with Blood Weapon up (in leveling gear so a bit squishy, imo).
New change to PI for WHM is pretty cool. Free AoE heal every minute now? Sure, works better than the old one.
Yet to even try out BLM after it's round of buffs. Dem insta tank/healer queues, though.
