Well theres the rat king quest. Still not sure if you need to party up for that questline though.

All the steps in the Rat King quest line have to be done with at least one other person in a fire team and you both have to have the quest item or the gun. You don't need to be on the same step, but you need to be part of the crew.

So is Nightfall's worth doing more then once(per week on one character) in Destiny 2?

I know in Destiny 1 it wasn't.

The nightfalls will reward you with more or less the equivalent of running a regular strike if you've already completed once on that character.

Man some of the OST tracks and later story levels really give me the itch to go replay ODST. Not the best shooter ever made but bungies most standout tonewise.

Hit 20 last night first time ive played Destiny series and enjoying it never been a big FPS guy but this is a lot of fun still not sure how all the loot and other systems work as far as how to gear up and craft/upgrade gear but lots of fun shooting baddies might see about joining the MMO-Champ clan later if able to. Had a solo poke about the raid. Very different than what i think a lot of people are expecting. Reminds me of a 70's disco version of High Charity from Halo 3.

But then a lot of this game is Halo 3.

The quest mission where you are running to get off The Almighty after blowing it up gave me serious halo flashbacks lol

Public Events on earth and strikes (PE's are quicker). Save your story quests (blue flag icon) for when ur light level 260.


Ontopic: Did about half the raid today, enjoyed it. But there is to much "Horde Mode" style stuff in it IMO.

The overall lore and design aesthetic of this raid seems really fucking retarded to me. It it SOOOOOOO out of place in a game like Destiny.

And the raid gear looks fucking horrible this time around (talking aesthetics once again). Pretty sure I'll be using all of my raid gear as infusion fuel for my current loadout.

What lore LOL. There is nothing in this raid that really ties it to the rest of the game.

Hell the only lore I can think of about the raid is in the LE of Destiny 2... Its neat in concept but it feels out of place.

Yeah. I feel Bungie dropped the ball HARD on the point behind why we even go to the Leviathan in the first place and why we even waste any time on it once we get there.

I'm not speaking for the actual raid encounters and mechanics here. Just speaking about the lore and overall aesthetics of the raid. Sorry, but I'd prefer to not have an Egyptian themed, gold plated space casino in my Destiny please.

The raid SHOULD have been us bashing down the fucking door of some major Cabal power base and setting the turtle bastards back on their heels for a good long while. Instead, we got a raid where we do nothing more than pass some arbitrary "tests" for the deposed Cabal Emperor in his fucking pleasure palace. Just a huge fucking let down from the lore and aesthetics we've gotten from prior raids.

Well, i don't want spoilers, but wasn't the first raid or expansion or DLC called "Osiris"? I kinda expected it to be egyptian themed. Then i'm not playing so

This raid has nothing to do with the first DLC and its theme.

Bungie just went full retard with the design aesthetics of this raid and made it match NOTHING of what we know of the Cabal.

And as of this moment, the whole premise of this raid kind of fell flat.....especially when you compare it to the prior raids we got in D1.

Least rewarding encounter I have ever played. Went in last night with a PuG, we went blind for the first few attempted at each encounter, then looked up the strats.

The fights are actually quite easy when you get it right. But the loot was..was..there was no loot. I am pissed.
