They always reveal the cinematic mic drop in the opening ceremony which is free to watch.
Then all the information in the dedicated panel immediately following looking at the schedule.

Wrong. WoD and MoP cinematic were revealed on Gamescom, closer to release.

Legion cinematic was revealed on Blizzcon, simply because they had to show something on opening ceremony. It was way to early in my opinion.

On opening ceremony we will get reveal trailer. I think WoW will get more time than other games, but we will see.

New qiraji idol was added and new safezone/flightpaths in the new ptr build.

Doubt kalimdor is up yet.

This wound stuff is interesting. I don't see expansion centered here, but it may be used for 7.3.5 or even 7.4 content.

Well silithus has that micro holiday thats horde vs alliance maybe they could make that permanent and siilthuis could be a world pvp zone where we fight for the blood of azeroth which is incredibly strong and each faction is trying to take it from one another.

Poorly worded my bad. My statement was directed to the question will there be a reveal cinematic
The point was the Opening ceremony consists of the big reveal cinematics (Obviously those not yet previously shared at other events) for all their IP that's being revealed at Blizzcon.
So we will see a cinematic reveal for the expansion during the free stream followed by the information that will swarm MMO-Champs front pages on details during the following panel since they abstained from sharing anything during this years Gamescom.

We'll probably have a small story patch where both the alliance and the horde are fighting over the power of the blood. probably genn greymane leading the alliance and sylvanas the horde.
