To illustrate what goes around comes around.

The states the US has destabilised are only artifical states created by Russia and the us mostly as puppet dictatorship's that replaced the previous colonial puppet states that replaced the ottoman empire who purported numerous crimes against Eastern Europe blah blah blah were all fucking evil admit it and stop the victim dick waggling

Check out George Clooney. Virtue Signaler quickly changed his tune when refugees were allocated right beside one of his holiday homes.

It is true, all these preachers to do the right thing are generally jackasses that are not affected by the things others who are and are concerned with, whom have the complete audacity to call such concerned people to be racist, xenophobic, etc. ... like a certain mod here. They'd quickly change their minds once they are.

Duh, because a lot of the left are stuck in this bubble where they can't see other people's problems or opinions, no matter how rational and correct those opinions are. As a liberal myself, that's a big problem that the left has as well as the right. Everyone's too stuck in their own bubble nowadays. Japan has always been this way and some of the most xenophobic and racist people are Asian but they and the countries they live in get a pass for some reason. Meanwhile countries like the US get crucified if they don't accept everyone and anyone. Hopefully we can get moderates who can see the middle ground. I'm all for helping people but others should definitely put their own share of help out before demanding others shoulder the burden.

depends on if your a tourist or an immigrant and also if your white/black.

best place to go to experience racism as a white person is some places in china and hongkong my sister had a laugh at a restaurant in hongkongs airport when a old Chinese lady kicked off an almighty fuss about being seated next to her because she was white

I'm not against taking in immigrants from war torn states, but damn a lot of people need to understand that the reality of taking in immigrants means we take the bad apples too and good or bad there is a massive clash in culture, it's really not a healthy thing for our country and overall is a negative burden for us regardless of whether or not it is the right thing to do to help those people.

Japan and China are all about protecting their cultures locally and nationally, this is just an extension of that. In europe things are different, we have been more about multiculturism and immigration is nothing new.

invite as many immigrants as you want
but they must live in only the rich parts - see how the champagne socialists like it
don't house them in poor areas and create social tension
otherwise they are back of the line
    europe is under enough pressure
no more room for millions more
send them to russia, UAE or eastern asia

Yeah, they also have a huge poulation problem where they don't produce nearly enough children to cover for their aging poulation.
There won't be a Japan left in a few generations if they don't act soon.

    It's hardly a dream scenario.

    Good for Japan.

    US should follow suit.

I am for taking refugees that will enhance our culture or workforce.
I am not for opening the flood gates for all refugees that end up putting a burden on our society.

I want actual legal immigrants that can contribute.

So then you wont have any problem at all showing exactly what agreement they signed saying they'd take in refugees and how many. And you wont have any problem finding the law that says they have to...

Wow so many people live in some parallel universe where Europe is ending... To encourage other countries to adapt Japans decisions not to take refugees is just beyond me.

We profit from globalization more than anyone else, abuse the poorest countries in the world and exploit them - there is almost nothing around is not being imported from people who greatly suffer for us. And instead of applying human rights globally some people here look at them like dirt and beasts? This is truly horrible.

And about Japan... they have a very isolated history and might still need some time. Seeing how they also develop tendencies like Karōshi I doubt that they can avoid improving their social intercourse within and outside for long.

I've practically lived next door with refugees since my childhood. When I was young they were people from Yugoslavia, now they are Syrians and Afghanis. In over 20 years we barely had any problems with any of them.

No they don't, if they don't want to take in refugees they don't have to. You have to be blind not to see the effects that these refugees have on some of the countries that took them in mass.

Countries bending over backwards for some of these refugees like they owe them something even after they took them into their country and gave them a warm bed and food.

It's no abstract metric lol, do I need to flick you more articles about the effect Japan's aging population is having on its economy?

Why don't you go out and educate yourself for once?
