Batman can take out any of the JLA at anytime, do not under estimate him. Given enough time to plan and prepare Batman is possibly the biggest threat to the Avengers.

Flash thinks just as fast as he runs. Can phase through matter and time travel. How does he lose...especially from Cap being "smarter" because he isn't?

Those two are definitely wrong. I don't know much about Hawkgirl simply because I find her boring. And Thor would beat Wonder Woman unless Thor had a thing for her.

Yet he can't breathe underwater. Superman would simply make him pass out from lack of oxygen before he got stronger not that it would matter seeing that he would have to get fairly angry to match Superman.

From a comic standpoint, I think people aren't giving the Hulk enough credit. Superman is my favorite super hero of all time (and I would welcome a separate debate on why this is since most people think he is lame) but I am not 100 percent certain he would beat the Hulk in a fist fight.

Batman and the Black panther are virtually copies of each other.

The Martian and Dr Strange would also be equally matched.

The Green lantern and Iron Man would be an interesting match as well.

Thor might be slightly stronger than Wonder Woman and he does have Mjolnir. That probably edges the fight on his favor but Hawkgirl would destroy The Black widow and Capt America wouldn't know what hit him against the Flash (literally).

The Hulk can't really be beaten though, because any damage you try to do to him just makes him equally angrier. If superman puts his full strength against Hulk, Hulk will be just as strong if not stronger. The main disadvantage of Hulk is there's not real controlling him, even by Banner. The best way to deal with him is to simply take him entirely out of the fight. If JLA could figure out how to do that, they'd have a much much better chance. If they can't, Superman can't take out the Hulk.

Captain America is kind of like the Batman of the Avengers, except that he's also a good leader. He's a tactical genius who always has plans within plans. Just like others in this thread have said don't rule out Batman, because he has the ability to come up with an amazing plan, the same is true of Cap.

Ah yes. The Incredible iteration did have that. That aside his Planet-Destroyer Classification comes from his lack of limit on power but that all has to do with Banners mindset. All-in-all it is two members of the same class yet one has to grow in power to reach the other. Within that time period he would end up losing. It comes down to out-thinking him and Banner may be one of the most brilliant minds of Marvel but which/when depends on what control he has. This is not a variable for most if not all Supermen.

Superman would just avoid the hulk, wait for him to calm down then squash Bruce Banner like a bug. Superman would not take him on in a straight fight and there is no way the Hulk can catch him if he does not want to be caught.

Have to say that any team that has Doctor Strange in it will win. The Sorcerer Supreme is absurdly powerful.
