Unhappy 7k Gold per BOA 100 Upgrades? Come on!

Really? 7k per upgrade for Armour and Weapons?

    The newest gold sink!

With how easy money is made in today's WoW, id much rather pay this than to farm 2k justice for each loom running the same heroics over and over and over again like I did back in Wrath. I have over 50 heirlooms so do the math.

Looking at the chart you really dont even need the 100 upgrade. 90-100 is so damn easy just level normally. My guess is the price will drop when the next level grind happens so really no need to worry. Buy the 90 looms and call it a day IMO.

To this day, even though doing heroics in Cata and MOP, I've never had more than 20k. I have no idea how people do outside of spending an insane amount of time farming and playing the AH.

20k is what you get from your garrison missions weekly. Its rather an art to have this low amount of gold.

um 7k is nothing. even for new players.

for those with real "issues", just get the addon Tycoon.

Thats not really true at all. 20k maybe if you have 5-10 alts, but not 1. You get 2-500g a day depending on what missions you do.

If you're having trouble putting together as little as 7k gold, well, you're pissing away a lot of gold on something stupid.

Well, 500-750G for a 1-60 heirloom, +1000G for armour and 1200G for a weapon to get them 1-90. Then + 2000G for an armour piece and only the weapon is big cost at + 5000G.

So sure, it's about 7k for a weapon but about 4k for an armour piece. I feel that's a pretty ok price considering time investment to get the gold vs. running dungeons or BGs for honor/valor/justice.

As a casual I seem to be getting lots of gold by just doing follower missions now and then basically, and selling whatever comes from the Salvage Yard boxes I get for missions.

If you complain about the cost, then it shows how overly reliant you are on heirlooms for what is an easier than ever levelling process.
If you don't like the cost, then try not using heirlooms for some of the levelling, as hard a concept that is for some to grasp.

I've already got enough coins of ancestry to buy 2 upgrades.

My first reaction was to disagree and say that we don't know for sure if that will be the live price. But, thinking on it, I could see you requiring quite an investment to trivialize leveling content between 90 and 100 (considering the upgrades will mean you only need 5 pieces of 13 at any given level; exception being epic upgrades from warmill for a couple levels). Even ignoring straight upgrades, the XP bump to get to 100 is well worth 7k for a single piece.

armor upgrades are 7k? your math is worse than my grammar.

I tried that with an alt. I literally didn't notice any difference in speed. That was entertaining.

    his number is wrong. anyway
    helm: 2000
    SHoulders: 2000
    cape: 2000
    Chest: 2000
    Pants: 2000
    trinket1: 2000
    Trinket2: 2000
    Ring(if it has upgrades): 2000
    Neck: 2000
    Weapon(2h): 5000

if my math is right thats 23,000g per full set unless you use 2 weapons or 1h+off hand. which would probably be 28,000g

Don't you know? Since there's a few retarded gold hoarders in the game, EVERYONE has to suffer from ridiculous gold sinks. So what if the vast, vast, vast majority of players only have 20-30,000 gold, max? Screw them. The people with a million gold on 10 different characters are the only ones who deserve to have fun with heirlooms.

That just makes the regular user try harder, amirite?

Sorry Casuals. You want to log in, rescue the princess and then go watch cartoons with your PB&J (with the crusts cut off) and Capri Sun then go play a different game.

    Infracted.

Stop buying stupid shit all the time and you'd have more money, tbh.
