[Holy] What boot enchant to take?

Well basicly, yesterday I got my new ulduar BiS boots (guild doesn't let me craft the shaman boots) off Auriaya and I was wondering what I should enchant them with.
The other 2 holy paladins in my guild both use the engineering boots and the rest of the paladins were mostly devided between those enchants.

Crit lost most of its power in 3.2. The mana gain from icewalker is really small, smaller than vitality. It does increases your healing, though, but both echants are weak. Walking speed can be really useful, and losing 7 mp5~10 crit can be worthy it.

I always spec PoJ. That being the case, Tuskarr is useless. After 3.2, I switched from Hit/Crit to the mp5. The benefit of either is so minor and the difference between them so small that there really is no right or wrong or better or worse. Just get whatever.

I think going for 20 pts Retri instead of 20 pts Prot is questionable, 8% crit gives almost nothing since the patch, while Divine Guardian got buffed and Divine Sacrifice is still an amazing skill.
That being said I'd go for the Tuskarr enchant, as both 7mp5 and 12 crit rating are just a small sacrifice compared to the better mobility.

Judging by your original post, your guild has at least 4 other pallys, so any of them could spec into it. Having 5 Divine Sacrifices is just dumb.

No, it's not. Divine Sac will be always more useful in a raid than 8% crit, the more uptime you have, the best it is.

Mp5 enchating will give you more mana regen tha icewalker. Icewalker will give you more healing. Tuskar will give you speed, but, as a holy paladin, I don't find myself in need to move fast.When we need to move, you just need to walk 2 or 3 steps, to avoid a fire or a blizzard.

I prefer this as well. If you are a super talented hard-mode group or something you can probably skip Tuskarr for the MP5 or Icewalker but its always nice to be able to get out of the fire faster.

/agree with most of the other posters.

Either spec PoJ or get Tuskarr. My paladin's gear isn't quite good enough that I'm comfortable speccing out of retri and into Divine Sac, so I have PoJ & Icewalker.

Crit, the 7mp5 is useless. The minor running speed is useless aswell, I can't think of any encounter where it is needed tbh.

The run speed is needed on any fight where you have to move. The faster you can get away from something/too a powerup, the faster you can get back to healing people who need to get healed.

The answer to your question is not as simple as a poll. If you are spec'd 51/0/20, you probably have PoJ and would benefit from Icewalker in your crit heavy build. If you are spec'd into the raid utility of Divine Sac with a 51/20/0 spec, you will probably want to pick up the 15 Stam/Run speed enchant. Faster movement is always a good thing and it really really shines when doing hard mode fights like XT-002 and Firefighter.

Minor speed is NOT useless in any way, infact. Now-adays most fights requires moving, almost all the time!
7% runspeed is alot and will save your raid more times than having 12 crit or 7 mana per five more. Moving to the "safe zone" 7% faster will even that actually give more healing output than the 12 crit or 7 mp5.

I prefer the MP5. Crit is not very desirable for mana regen anymore, and run speed... I just have to chuckle a little at. There should be an int enchant for boots. It annoys me that there isn't.

Crit and Hit works for PVP and PVE if you use the same boots.
Tuskars for strict PVP use.

The MP5/HP5 is just useless.
