why does blizzard hate mages

i only read the first post. but really you cant be a proper mage if you cant defeat rogues in movement fights,. mages are the strongrest once in dose fights as fire. and one of the strongest non movement fight as arcane. you cant play your class if you say this, this just make me sad.
im playing mage and they are just fine as they are so this is just a pathtic excuse for not be abel to play your class correctly.

tbh dude i think its more that you suck, mages in my guild no matter what the fight are always top even when everyone is just aoeing, so far mages seem to be highest dps in game atm from my experience in last few months, so clearly u are doing something terribly wrong to be pulling 5000dps with aoe, i can do that on my prot warrior.

Arcane Mages have a LOT of love from Blizzard atm. They are right there at the top of the DPS meters with Mutilate Rogues. Have you ever played a Rogue? Dealing with posions, and the quite complex rotation they must use to get those imba numbers? Where as all Arcane Mages do is stand still and spam, 11112, 11112, 11112? Ofc you have short cooldowns. You don't want Blizz to tell you your class. So I won't either.

Do not worry about your AoE. It means precisely jack shit anyway.

Edit. And if your guild gives two shiny shites about your DPS on that trash then I highly doubt they are 12th on your server. Has it crossed your mind that all that trash is undead? Pallies DPS is going to go wild on it. It is a core mechanic of their class. How many other instances recently have undead? Only Naxx. Way back in T7. Let them have this.

If youre doing 5000 dps on AoE pulls you suck as fuck.

Mages in my guild do 18000 dps on AoE pulls by just spamming blizzard while i can hardly reach 12000

Ive been in alot of movement fights. mages have always been top 5.

Buff arcane? are you fuckin retarded? thats the easiest dps spec to play in the whole world of warcraft!! 3 fuckin buttons and u got 10000 dps!!

If you say mages suck and need buff then you suck badly and really need to go check theorycrafting.

without considering the obvious troll, there's a point that I would like to show :

In my guild, there are 3 mages ( including me ). we have ofc arc spec, and all of us have a secondary ffb spec with dragon breath and fire nova. We pull about 13 to 14 k dps on trashs, and are generally on top, EXEPT for death knights witch blow out recount. I know "trashs is srsbzns", but that annoys me, ar'nt we supposed to be the top aoe class ? Shit, theses dk are ahead of me on trashs and bosses, rats ...

Mage AoE is capped by.. the AoE cap. DK diseases are not. If you get a pack of 500 mobs, your Blizzard will hit each one for a lovely 20 damage each (not an actual number, just throwing something out there) whereas DK diseases will tick on each mob for upwards of 200-300 damage every few seconds.
