So I heard making your own Raid is cool again (Tirisfal Abyss REMAKE)

    Lore:

The Catalcysm has shaken the very foundations of Azeroth, awakening an ancient evil thaught to be forever asleep deep below the plagued fields of the Tirisfal Glades. The areas around the Old Goddess' resting place has recently been filled with whispers. Whispers of an evil even greater then Deathwing and the Black Dragonflight. Evil that matches the Dark Titan himself...

    Raid Theme:

The raid is located in Tirisfal Glades, in the mountains (=3) and is reachable through either portals or flying mount. Twilight Cultists has started to infest the areas around the ancient entrance, but none of the ones who has entered the temple has been able to leave. Both the forces of the Alliance and the Horde has rallied to the Abyss to eliminate the evil within (FORESHADOWING)

Basically, the instance takes place beneath the Tirisfal Glades. The plague has obviously not been able to reach this deep into the earth, but some argue that the inhabitants of these ancient catacombs are more mad, wicked and evil then the mindless undead that wanders the fields above.

Encounter the First: The Faceless Watcher:

As the raid enters the ancient depths they will be met by a gigantic, seemingly lifeless, Faceless One, who soon awakens and a cutschene begins.

The Faceless Watcher: Visitors? Since when have I have visitors? I have seen this moment, have I not? Painful memories of the future, have I not seen enough of them? They are killing me from the inside, are they not? Have you come to enter the cold realms of the lady? I cannot let you, can I?

The raid will soon learn that the "memories of the future" IS actually killing him from the inside, because when the combat starts the Faceless Watcher will cast Memories of the Future, traping the raid inside his memories. While inside, the raid will enter the Watcher's memory of a Burning Legion invasion that will take place in the future. The Watcher will be present, and he has a debuff called They will kill me from the inside... which takes 2% of his health every 9 sec. in addition, he will be immune to any means of damage thrown on him, and the only task during this encounter may SEEM like an easy "Tank him until he kills himself" fight, but no. remember that this takes place during a Burning Legion invasion. While keeping the Watcher from killing you, you must also keep the Burning Legion away from the raid.

    Phase 1:

    Adds: Burning Legion Soldiers

These are regular trash mobs. They have no special attacks, but they have a buff called The Burning Legion that stacks. It increases their damage done and taken by an amount depending on how many other Burning Legion mob that are around them.

The Watcher himself will in intervals of 5% of health lost throw a wave of Shadow Bolts on the raid, dealing a great deal of damage.

Phase 2: Starts after 3 waves of Burning Legion Soldiers

    Adds: Burning Legion Soldiers, Infernals

Like the last phase, except that 3 Infernals will fall from the sky with each wave of Burning Legion Soldiers. The Infernals has an AoE aura, so keep them away from the raid.

Phase 3: Starts when the Watcher is at 50%

    Adds: Burning Legionaires, Infernals

The Burning Legion Soldiers has been replaced by Legionaires, who are just like their old counterparts but bigger, fewer and stronger.

Phase 4: Starts when the Watcher is at 20%

Add: The man, the myth, the legend: F*cking Sargeras

Sargeras yells: It is time for me to finnish what Archimonde and Kil'jaeden failed to finnish!

The Faceless Watcher: Do you feel the pain too? Isn't it growing greater and greater the closer we get to the ultimate doom?

What do you expect to do versus Sargeras? Well. LEG IT! Sargeras is impossible to kill, but as a bonus the Watcher now takes 1% of damage every second, so you will only have to put up with Sargeras for 20 seconds. Of doom. Sargeras will, like the infernals, have a burning aura, so run the hell away from him. He does also one-shot everything, and he can AoE.

When the Watcher does only have 3% health left, Sargeras will yell: This planet is useless! I will wipe you all from the face of the universe! and will start to cast the spell Ragnarok, which is an AoE attack that one-shots everything. Luckily, the spell has a 4 second cast, and the Watcher will die before Sargeras finnishes the cast. When the Watcher die everything around you will fade away, including Sargeras, and the Watcher will lie dead on the floor, ready to be looted!

Congratulations, you are now ready to walk into the Tirisfal Abyss!

This was thrown together using an idea I had once. Throwing Sargeras into the mix made everything a lot funner :3 Please comment.

If you want my honest opinion, this would be a VERY cool first encounter. Also would be setting up lore for a future expansion. I think this a very creative effort of your part. You have more?

    And now it's time for...

The Things between Encounter the First and Encounter the Second!

With the Faceless Watcher dead and the gates of the Tirisfal Abyss open the raid continues through an empty hallway. While running through, a "Mysterious Voice" will whisper warnings of an inevitable doom to the raid. At the end of the hallway is a half-assed elevator of titan design. Obviously you're supposed to take it down into the Abyss, but when the elevator has slowly started to take the raid deeper and deeper beneath the Glades a sudden scream is heard and suddenly spiked tentacles appear from out of the walls. The objective here is to simply keep the raid alive until the elevator reaches it's destination. The tentacles has as much HP as an average Level 85 mob, and there will be as many tentacles as there are players. However, the tentacles deals one shitload of damage, and when one of them dies another one will spawn after 2 seconds. The elevator ride takes 30 seconds, and then the elevator cracks and the raid falls down towards a seemingly inevitable death, but when they are very close to the ground a Slow Fall esque effect will be applied to the entire raid and a red dragon will appear from above them. (If this was a real raid, this dragon would proably be Krasus, and the dragon will be refered to as Krasus through the entire raid here)

Krasus: That was a close call, heroes! I felt the presence of an ancient evil and it came to my knowledge that you had defeaten the watcher, so I followed. I see it was fortunate that I did.
(NOTE: I haven't read any novels, and I don't know if this is how Krasus talks. Feel free to throw any insults you want at me for this =3)

Krasus will give you a quest that simply says "Vanquish the evil beneath the Tirisfal Glades" and then the raid will continue into a circular room with a lowered area in the center, making it look like an arena. Inside the arena, on the side closest to where th raid enters, is a big, titan-like construct, and on the other side of the arena there is a big, spider-like, humanoid construct, like a gigantic nerubian made of stone. Around the arena there's six blue crystals.

Krasus says: I sense that this room is full of an ancient magic. Stay here, heroes, while I investigate.

He then walks around the arena to the door leading out of the room, but as he is going to open it he is trapped inside a purple barrier.

Stay tuned to learn how the raid will handle...

    Encounter the Second: Godbrawler Madazz!

I was going to include the boss in this post, but I ran out of time. Will finnish it tomorrow

I usually don't bother to read fan-ideas, but I'm glad I did in this case. Good stuff.

    For the Faceless Watcher:
    1. make it so that he does not need to be tanked, otherwise the encounter requires 3 tanks (Watcher, Adds, AoE adds)
    2. maybe make it so the Infernal AoE is a casted pulse like in ToC (but non-interruptable) just to avoid massive amounts of damage on the Infernal tank at the beginning
    3. Possibly make it so that when Sargeras comes out he yanks in the players (say he spawns 100 yards from Watcher(i dunno how far you can go in 20s)) and the players have to run back to the watcher while dodging falling Infernals (PoS tunnel+Escape from LK) and have a big pull about halfway through (say, 4 legionaries and 4 infernals for example)
3a. this would mean you have to have P4 last longer, maybe buff it up to 45s to deal with the running, killing, running.

i like it alot, should post it on the forums, while i doubt anyone from blizz will make it exactly like this, they might get a few cool ideas.
