Lore:
The Catalcysm has shaken the very foundations of Azeroth, awakening an ancient evil thaught to be forever asleep deep below the plagued fields of the Tirisfal Glades. The areas around the Old Goddess' resting place has recently been filled with whispers. Whispers of an evil even greater then Deathwing and the Black Dragonflight. Evil that matches the Dark Titan himself...
Raid Theme:
The raid is located in Tirisfal Glades, in the mountains (=3) and is reachable through either portals or flying mount. Twilight Cultists has started to infest the areas around the ancient entrance, but none of the ones who has entered the temple has been able to leave. Both the forces of the Alliance and the Horde has rallied to the Abyss to eliminate the evil within (FORESHADOWING)
Basically, the instance takes place beneath the Tirisfal Glades. The plague has obviously not been able to reach this deep into the earth, but some argue that the inhabitants of these ancient catacombs are more mad, wicked and evil then the mindless undead that wanders the fields above.
Encounter the First: The Faceless Watcher:
As the raid enters the ancient depths they will be met by a gigantic, seemingly lifeless, Faceless One, who soon awakens and a cutschene begins.
The Faceless Watcher: Visitors? Since when have I have visitors? I have seen this moment, have I not? Painful memories of the future, have I not seen enough of them? They are killing me from the inside, are they not? Have you come to enter the cold realms of the lady? I cannot let you, can I?
The raid will soon learn that the "memories of the future" IS actually killing him from the inside, because when the combat starts the Faceless Watcher will cast Memories of the Future, traping the raid inside his memories. While inside, the raid will enter the Watcher's memory of a Burning Legion invasion that will take place in the future. The Watcher will be present, and he has a debuff called They will kill me from the inside... which takes 2% of his health every 9 sec. in addition, he will be immune to any means of damage thrown on him, and the only task during this encounter may SEEM like an easy "Tank him until he kills himself" fight, but no. remember that this takes place during a Burning Legion invasion. While keeping the Watcher from killing you, you must also keep the Burning Legion away from the raid.
Phase 1:
Adds: Burning Legion Soldiers
These are regular trash mobs. They have no special attacks, but they have a buff called The Burning Legion that stacks. It increases their damage done and taken by an amount depending on how many other Burning Legion mob that are around them.
The Watcher himself will in intervals of 5% of health lost throw a wave of Shadow Bolts on the raid, dealing a great deal of damage.
Phase 2: Starts after 3 waves of Burning Legion Soldiers
Adds: Burning Legion Soldiers, Infernals
Like the last phase, except that 3 Infernals will fall from the sky with each wave of Burning Legion Soldiers. The Infernals has an AoE aura, so keep them away from the raid.
Phase 3: Starts when the Watcher is at 50%
Adds: Burning Legionaires, Infernals
The Burning Legion Soldiers has been replaced by Legionaires, who are just like their old counterparts but bigger, fewer and stronger.
Phase 4: Starts when the Watcher is at 20%
Add: The man, the myth, the legend: F*cking Sargeras
Sargeras yells: It is time for me to finnish what Archimonde and Kil'jaeden failed to finnish!
The Faceless Watcher: Do you feel the pain too? Isn't it growing greater and greater the closer we get to the ultimate doom?
What do you expect to do versus Sargeras? Well. LEG IT! Sargeras is impossible to kill, but as a bonus the Watcher now takes 1% of damage every second, so you will only have to put up with Sargeras for 20 seconds. Of doom. Sargeras will, like the infernals, have a burning aura, so run the hell away from him. He does also one-shot everything, and he can AoE.
When the Watcher does only have 3% health left, Sargeras will yell: This planet is useless! I will wipe you all from the face of the universe! and will start to cast the spell Ragnarok, which is an AoE attack that one-shots everything. Luckily, the spell has a 4 second cast, and the Watcher will die before Sargeras finnishes the cast. When the Watcher die everything around you will fade away, including Sargeras, and the Watcher will lie dead on the floor, ready to be looted!
Congratulations, you are now ready to walk into the Tirisfal Abyss!
This was thrown together using an idea I had once. Throwing Sargeras into the mix made everything a lot funner :3 Please comment.
