    Shoes.

    $495.00 USD

    Shoe: Air Jordan 1
    Year: 1985
    Original Retail Price: $65
Original Retail Price Adjusted For Inflation: $143
    Most Recent Retro Price: $140
Difference: Air Jordan 1s are currently priced $3 less than expected when adjusted for inflation.

    My shoes

    in 1985

    15$ at Payless

Today I am not sure I ever spent ore than $200 for a pair unless they were for a suit or had some special therapeutic functions, what about you?

And for a little Nostalgia Starter Jackets used to be a big deal

    What is your favorite Brand?

I would have to say NIKE only because they seem to be the best qualify for the buck.

The poll is a bit wonky, I think the most I've spent on shoes was like $65, but there's no 50-100 option.

I don't like shoes and I don't understand why people would pay hundreds of dollars for a name brand pair when you can get something that'll work just as well for $50. Plus all the name brand ones are ugly.

Yeah I should have put under $100, my mind was kind of back in 1985 a moment whilst trying to find Prowings LOL!

A man doesn't need to own more than two pairs of shoes: one pair for fancy stuff, and one pair for walking around.

Yeah true same, I got the 15$ Pro wings because they were the cheapest at Payless, suffice to say cool wasn't in the budget, however looking back I can say now that i can afford shoes closer to the average price and quality now, I think they last 10 times longer than the cheap deals.

They are quite expensive here, nothing for below €50, so 50-200 is the only valid option. Though I usually buy shoes and clothing when driving through Germany or France - its 2-3 times cheaper there.

Honestly this is true for me It's one for Work, another for something fancy. I don't think my flip flops in socks count though.

It angers people but some day I will find the rest of my kind and they'll all be sorry.

You're a monster, but soon you'll come around to the light. I, too, was once a sandal socker.

OT: I don't think I've ever spent more than 50 dollars for shoes my steel toed shoes I need for my job.

Anything more than 50$/euros is way too much for a quality pair of shoes.

You are just paying for the branding after that.

I always got bullied for wearing cheap shoes back in middle school so now I spend around $150 when buying shoes.

Eh, I've had the same pair of shoes for a long time. Pretty sure they were online $50-60. See no real point in paying for expensive shoes.

Well, 80-120 for shoes is not that much. I usually buy one every year, for the last 3 years i bought only puma motorsport shoes, they look good and comfortable.

No idea about the obsession with shoes or brands.
I had on pair of adidas (I think) sneakers bought for ~50 when I started university in 1998 that lasted until 2012, then they really fell apart and I bought some new 50 euro no name sneakers in the shoe shop next to my office which were the first pair of shoes that fitted on my foot that I wear since then and hope they will last quite as long.

You should buy shoes every year. I have some pair, changing them every 2-3 days due to hygiene reasons.

I've spent about 150 USD on a pair of Asics. Twice. I think. Maybe one pair was bought on sale, I don't remember. They are soft and comfortable, and I do need me some soft shoes. As a teenager I of course had Converse Allstar, but I wouldn't reccommend them. Asics lasts a few years but they get worn out on the heel, so the heel part of the shoe ends up rubbing against the heel, which isn't comfortable.

Also spent 120 USD on more typical "women's shoes" that have lasted a long time (but not high heels, fuck that shit, seriously)

These days I'm using a Puma pair which were... I don't remember, but cheaper than the Asics
